There Was A Secret Meeting Of Pastors In Iowa, And It Could Be Great News For Ron Paul

Unlike Perry and Gingrich, Paul has an active field organization in Iowa, and consistently polled at the top of state polls. But he has struggled to expand support beyond his cultlike base.

LoL

this is very encouraging.

I'm so glad Ron was invited to speak at this event.

The truth he speaks bears fruit for those who will hear and listen.

He did also win the Value Voters Summit Straw Poll, and gave a kickin' speech there.

A tube would be nice.

Doug Wead pulling some strings on Ron's behalf there?
Whatever, this group is what propelled Huck there last time.

I fail to see the "good news," and I did read the article. The only thing that it gave is good news is that the neo-cons will split their vote, and we already knew that.
I wish there was something new that was "good news" that would push Paul's poll numbers up as the article implied, but it did not say anything.

Actually there was this part:
"evangelicals have lost their cohesion — they don't trust their leaders."
There is one candidate you can trust to do what he says, thats been the whole image they have been pushing the whole time. If evangelicals don't even trust their leaders.....who will they trust?

It looks like Romney is screwed in Iowa then, Cain with his little groping charges and his huge gaffes also looks like a no-go.

Ladies and gents, Paul looks like hes gonna take Iowa just effortlessly! This is counting out the SuperVoterBomb project, and all the phone banking projects going on right now. Anyone else getting excited?

We've far from won it.

Anyone who isn't participating in the campaign's Phone-from-Home program, why not?! Get the lead out! :D

Ron Paul is in a 4-way tie for 1st place. That means he could end up 1st, or could end up as low as 4th. Your calls may make the difference.

It concerns me that the campaign had to stop their TV ads due to lack of funding. We need 'em.

Hi, Grace

I’d like to draw your attention to two recent polls where Ron Paul got exceptionally high percentages:

http://caucuses.desmoinesregister.c...a-republicans-favor-herman-cain-and-ron-paul/

Ron Paul, 20.4%

And

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-...ay-republican-dead-heat-in-iowa-caucuses.html

Ron Paul, 19%

So, the next time your source tells you that Paul can't seem to break 16% in Iowa polls”, you can just point out these two and give the source a chance to correct the statement.

Thanks!

Tod Mills

He can't break 16%? Well he has.

But I thought he couldn't break 7%? Then it was 10%, then 12%, then 15% and so on...

Let's not spread unsubstantiated rumors that the campaign stopped them due to funding. Has the campaign said that? Remember others read this board and quote it in the press. We know for a fact that radio ads are being played and that the campaign has been buying their media in advance. We also know that the ads are more expensive now. I think it is reasonable that they felt they got their message out on tv and are now more direct targetting with their message. I haven't seen any evidence that tv ads aren't being played in IA due to budgeting/funding, have you?

Ah Shit. Has he run out of $$$$ ? I am maxed but, the wife isn't, we were kinda waiting for the sentimental "tea party" from the last campaign. :(
