This was statement made by Joe Rogan and it's pretty much the truth now.

All blue counties are pretty much centered around cities.

Imagine if each county was one electoral vote, the Democrats would never win again ever.

Perfect reason to cange model of govt . No federal funding outside of article 1 section 8 and any programs already pd into by citizens . Remainder of govt spending goes to states . States fund minimum and dirty cities can tax and spend as please

It's been trending that way for awhile now. It's largely becoming urban vs. rural/suburban.

It might have been the same podcast (maybe with Theo Von where they said it?) but he also mentioned that the cities are all in a trance. A leftist trance, to be specific. All of us have known this for years but I was glad to hear someone like him finally come out and say it. He also made the connection with universities and their proximity to cities and them being a large reason why so many people in urban areas are left leaning.

They aren't "educated" people, per se. They are indoctrinated and are told they are the smartest people in the room by their commie professors.

The other major reason is ethnic minorities like blacks are focused in the inner cities and have been voting left for decades due to the Dems promises of free shit.

If it weren't for those cities Democrats would lose all 50 states.

Isn't there a factoid that basically without CA and New York, Dems wouldn't win the presidency and senate, like ever? Something along those lines. Effectively, if we did not have the Electoral College system, 1-2 states would be deciding every election for everyone.

Thomas Jefferson and the other founders were so aware of this and wanted to protect the minority from the tyranny of the majority; namely protecting the rural areas from the urban.

It was genius.
