The wisdom of federalism, our Constitution’s plan!

So, you are a supporter of our Constitution and federalism, our Constitution's plan?

JWK

I support freedom.

The constitution and its plan has brought us one of the most tyrannical, expansive and intrusive governments history has ever seen.

So, obviously, the plan has failed.

The only thing that has managed to retain even a shred of basic freedoms from government infringement is the Bill of Rights.

Which was/is rejected by the federalists.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Anti Federalist again.
Sorry, bro. :(

Seems to me you ought to review our OTHER founders' own words especially the Anti Federalists, unless of course you are really happy with only the incomplete statist's version of history. :p

BTW, Hamilton, the coup leader, had married into the Rothschild family and had become a secret agent for the Bank of England.

What a guy. Arron Burr deserves the Medal of Freedom for killing that SOB traitor.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Ronin Truth again.
Hasn't been often you deserve a +rep, but I wish I had one for you now. :(

The constitution and it's[sic] plan has kept us from an even more tyrannical, expansive, and intrusive government than would have occurred otherwise, as can be seen by the utter brutality of governments previous.

How could one perception of reality be distinguished from the other? I say it's a matter of a person's perspective which way they see it.

ORLY? What are your thoughts on the AoC had they been given more than a blink of an eye in the span of time?

Similar, with different problems. The advantage we have now is the preknowledge that future generations must be civic minded and focused on education in the long term. There are no great implementable alternatives that are not long-term gradualist projects, there are opportunities to reduce suffering by not focusing on the problems with the Constitution, and as a rhetorical tool in an age of manufactured consent, it has meager value, but as a check on government, it is very obviously still a valuable document underpinning rule of law. That's why all courtrooms still use it and suffering is reduced and justice is served to the extent it is followed, in adherence with natural law. The amount it is usurped has no bearing on the fact that it exists and is fundamental to real world law and is the highest precedent. It therefore serves as a basis for justice.

AoC would have done same with slightly different effects. Constitution would do so more effectively if it were written better.

IT'S BULLSHIT, BUT IT'S THE BEST BULLSHIT WE HAVE

"I wish it were possible to obtain a single amendment to our constitution - taking from the federal government their power of borrowing." - Thomas Jefferson

"It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world." -- Thomas Jefferson

Ah, but alas, it was not written better. It was written as it stands. And here we are.

Thanks for the grammatical correction.

So, as you see it, we should be thankful (due to the constitution) that we're not at the deathcamp/gulag stage?

Glass half full, amirite?

The prison system reminds me an awful lot of the Gulag system Solzhenitsyn described.
