The Who are one of the few bands who were very influential yet nobody else really sounds like them. "ooh- this band may be the next Beatles, the next Rolling Stones, the next Led Zepplin". There is nobody quite like them. One of the best musical documentaries was put together on the Who and I would suggest anybody who likes the band checks it out- "The Kids Are Alright". I missed their performance at the Super Bowl (one of the few people actually working at the time). I did get the chance to see them a couple of times- including not long after Keith died and Kenny Jones filled in.

Just watched the YouTube of the performance. Great set for a couple of old geezers! One of the best halftime shows in my opinion. I believe that was Ringo Starr's son Zach Starkey on drums and Pete's younger brother Simon on one of the guitars. Awsome light show. Having helped build stage sets for stadium shows it is really impressive that they can roll this on and off the field within a half an hour. We spend at least three days to set up the stage and can tear it all down to the ground in about 24 hours.
