The West Virginia Results to Watch (DELEGATES, Links Herein)

We are only seeing very few counties reporting results yet. Many of the top delegates only have regional support. For example, here is the current results for my county:
http://test.harrisoncountywv.com/courthouse/election/web-files/summary.HTM

If you check on the Secretary of State's website, click on any name, you will notice that no results from Harrison are included. You'll also find that the vast majority of a candidate's votes will come from one or two counties, which are nearby geographically. I believe we won't get an accurate projection as to who will become delegates until almost all of the precincts have been reported.

Michael Ihle and Darrell Black (highest two Paul delegates) are about 1000 votes back of being a delegate in the at large race. Could be possible depending on the precincts left.

That would be great if we got at large but if Romney picked people known state wide, he has a huge edge in that category. I was thinking we would do better in specific districts, but I don't really know.

Holy crap Keith Judd is getting a lot of support in the Democratic Presidential Primary. They must really hate Obama.

Many in our state do, indeed, hate president Obama. Many democrats are registered that way (at least in my area) and vote straight ticket on everything except the Presidential election.

BILL TALKINGTON is also in that zone. looks like we have a lot in the 3000-3500 vote range on the SOS site.

Thank you!

Yea, as of now it is not looking good.
The final numbers are revealing a near Romney sweep with a smattering of uncommitted (which will probably go for Romney ultimately anyhow)...

AP's numbers are higher, but Laura Hayes-Shifflett, is in 23rd place on the SOS site and way down the list on the AP site, so they must be getting numbers from different sources.

edit: AP just updated, we've got 2 in the top 25.
reedit (26th and 27th are Paul right now)

77% reporting,

still 26th and 27th.

1 Santorum, 2 "Uncommitted" and the rest for Romney at at-large delegates

Districts: 7 Romney, 2 "Uncommitted", no real hope for a Paul delegate :(

We can always do a search on open secrets and help figure out who these people really support. I'm hoping there are some stealths in there.

There's no reason why it's taking so long for these votes to come in. I'm not suggesting anything, but WV uses those computer machines to feed the ballots into which should give them the count relatively quickly except for Braxton County which is counting by hand. WV has always been known for corrupt politics which is probably why John D Rockefeller the 4th choose to come here to run for office.

Anyway, anyone notice that Obama is only defeating his opponent by less than 20 points at the moment? Not very popular here.

You've got that right. This state is as corrupt as they come. Besides that, it seemed a little unfair to have pages and pages of delegates, and the Paul delegates were the absolute last ones listed, even behind the uncommitted delegates and the Santorum delegates. Romney was the first. Is it just me, or does it seem like that was deliberate? If you don't want someone to win, it just makes sense to bury their names under pages and pages of other delegate names.
