On a brighter note... the first $35,000 TAX FREE, will stimulate the economy more than any Bullshit Spending Gimmicks these Keynesian Kooks Obama has running the show.

If the ppl who make =<$35G/yr do not pay any income tax then someone else will simply pay it. As in, the people on the wrong side of the $35G.

If Obama's healthcare reform is unfair because it forces us, people who have our fecal matter together, to pay for bums and degenerates, how is this bill any different?

I am not being rhetorical, either. I would like to be explained how is this a good bill, because so far, I do not see anything good in it.
 
It's sad that a far-left liberal "gets it" much more than a so-called liberty candidate like Rand Paul. I just wonder if Rand will come out and suport this?....Im not holding my breath.

That's not the way it works. The first 35K of your income (70K for married couples) would not be subject to income taxes. So if someone earned 135K/yr, this bill would only tax 100K of that.

I support this bill, but I think it's a gimmick. It's really trying to deny funding for the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, which we all know won't happen with the current Congress and administration. The honest thing would be to explicitly deny funding for those wars, and not try to sell it as "$500 billion is enough to fight those wars".

How can you be a Ron Paul supporter and not like this bill? This bill can be considered the main part of the Ron Paul liberty platform... How else do you want to balance the budget and lower taxes except by cutting military spending? This bill helps with all three of those things.

Yes, people making over 35k will still pay taxes, but news flash, they pay taxes now, too!

Mailing your representative is pretty useless when they probably get thousands of letters, but I sent an email to Adam Schiff anyways.
