I've been playing around with Google Insight, where you can chart the relative interest of searches in a specific geographic area.

Ron Paul is the clear leader in Iowa:

He is also in the lead in New Hampshire, although Romney is much closer here than elsewhere:

Paul is also clearly ahead nation wide:

It will be very interesting to see the correlation between searches and actual votes over the next few weeks.

Good stuff. I've been watching the correlation between google news stories and polling numbers. What I can't figure is why mitt romney's name has been in the "top stories" section of google news for at least 5 months (daily). That's a lot of free press....
