The Truth About Ted Cruz

This isn't for you. This is to be used to educate Cruz supporters about what a slimy politician they have chosen, using a tremendous amount of facts and evidence to back it up rather than just your emotions and feelings.

Why do you think he didn't want to watch it :D

My God, the video is 1 hr 33 mins long. Which means 1 hr would be devoted to irrelevant background information that would be used to prepare the audience mentally and psyche their senses into believing the smear job he is just about to unleash. It sorta reminds me of the sort of presentation Rachel Maddow does, which essentially comes down to starting his smear with a rather confusing background information on the topic she is about to target. Sometimes the background information has very little connect to do with the main topic she claims to be addressing.

Also, another problem with Stefan making this sort of a video is that he has an agenda and a conflict of interest that should disqualify him from making this review of Ted Cruz. Cruz just leap froged his favorite candidate in the polls and he is pushing this hit job just in time to try and stem the bleeding in the polls for Trump. I can imagine him bring up irrelevant facts to poison the well like he did with his rebuttal of Thomas Sowell(a man who I truly dislike) critic of Trump. Bringing up the fact that he was a Marxist as a teenager to somehow demean his character.

So watch at your own peril, I would suggest taking the information presented in this video with a huge grain of salt knowing full well that the author is for all intent and purpose an agent of Ted Cruz's opponent and Stefan would try and spin every fact about Ted in the negative the way. He would use strawman argument creating hypothetical scenario which would make Ted appear to be worse than Trump.

I can't even watch Cruz for more than 30 seconds. He sounds like the typical snake oil salesman I saw growing up, watching the Andy Griffith show. And his wife, a top executive with Goldman Sachs????? Forget that shit.

Fortunately there is no footage of Cruz in this video, just a shit ton of facts and research.

I just want to point out that this post is total horse shit and doesn't describe the contents of the video at all. This video is filled with slides that contain a wealth of facts and information that is mostly detrimental to Ted Cruz, and continues on that way throughout the entire video.

Wow, there is absolutely no one we can trust any longer.

I never really "trusted" breitbart, although they do provide good stories and information from time to time. I see them on the same level as Drudge.

The reason I posted this video is that most of the things Stefan pointed out were things that have been discussed already in this forum, but they are well researched and cited so you can actually make a really good argument to a Cruz supporter who is open to new information. But also, the video contained new things about Cruz that I hadn't seen on this forum like this Breitbart connection which are also well researched and supported.

Maybe so, but the other horseshit is the idea that one can expect a fan boy like Stefan give a fair analysis of Cruz. Also facts like data can be spun depending on the agenda of the person interpreting it. Take for example the fact that a young man held Marxists ideology as a young teen. That fact can be used to question his conservative bona fides or used to solidify his credibility as someone who pulled himself out of said ideology to now hold a conservative and free market one.

We are looking at a man who in the same week of releasing "The Truth about Ted Cruz" released "The untruth about Donald Trump". The truth is that the man has an agenda to promote Trump and bashing Cruz is one his ways to do it. Cruz maybe the devil but Stefan who has never made a fair assessment of anything in his life cannot be the one to produce that verdict. There is too much conflict of interest, too much bias to take anything he says about Cruz seriously.

Again, more bullshit.

I posted this video because I watched it and it provides an endless swarm of research and evidence about what a crooked, terrible person and politician Ted Cruz is. The video provides more research and evidence against Cruz than I have gotten from this forum where thousands of people working to elect one of Cruz' opponents... and you know what? That says a lot about Stefan, that he can do a better job of proving what a scumbag Ted Cruz is than an entire internet forum that is largely dedicated to doing so. That is why I respect him, because he is a thorough and fantastic researcher. We can use this information to our advantage, to help people turn from Cruz to Rand, or we can ignore it at our own peril.

I find it not surprising that the anti-Stefan posters in here have not provided ANY substance to this thread about the video or what it contains, just a bunch of ASSumptions.

The fact is this video is pure gold, it is a gift that if used wisely could gain Rand a lot of support.

First of all, I think anyone posting any video from Stefan is only going to lead to more people voting for Trump. So to be fair, I didn't listen to it, I think i'll only listen to him only if I really really really really had to listen, I am talking about a case where I am dying from excruciating bone cancer and Stefan has a cheap DIY video for the cure of said cancer, then would I consider listening to him again :). But instead I went to the site and immediately paused the video and read more than 6 pages of the comments to get an idea what he is talking about. But if I wanted to help Rand, I would never post anything from the known Trump deep throater even if its an anti Cruz or Rubio video.

Also, I am not saying that he is not going to use facts or will always unfairly use all the facts to smear Ted Cruz. But the man with the history of bias that he is know for, I don't expect anything close to a fair assessment and since just about everybody on this site has enough reason not to vote for him, why is this necessary? I don't need him telling us what we already know. Its akin to someone making a top 1000 reasons to brush your teeth in the morning when all you needs is about a half dozen, Stefan is that idiot that complied the 994 other reason in order to persuade consumer to buy his dental care product. So Stefan can take his extra/fantastic/tremendous well researched reasons why we shouldn't vote for Cruz and shove it where the sun don't shine. The problem we have on this site is a rash or people thinking voting for Trump is a net positive and he is too much of a fanboy to help with that problem

I am vehemently opposed to Trump. I enjoy Stefan's discussion and analysis of Trump. I think it is completely inconsistent for Stefan to support Trump based on his views, with the exception of him viewing Trump as a good parent who didn't spank his children (note: Ted Cruz has let on that he does spank his children for minor non-violent offenses). The whole argument about not letting immigrants who are largely socialists into a country on the brink, or arguably in the midst of socialism is not entirely inconsistent since he believes more government force will be applied to individuals by letting them in than by stopping those people from coming in. Other than that, and the fact that he understands business and has done some light promotion of free markets I'm not sure what he sees in him, especially compared to Rand.

However this anti-Cruz video is a great way for getting information out against Cruz. You don't have to send the video to a Cruz supporter, you can send them the information that he lays out in the video. Rand's campaign may even find some good material to attack Cruz on that they weren't aware of before.

If you can provide a better anti-Cruz video, then go ahead and post it up and maybe I will check it out.. But right now this is the best and most informative anti-Cruz video I have seen out there and I give Molyneux mad props for that.

Yea. i guess this one video maybe the best anti Cruz video ever. One of my problems is this, lets assume that Stefan is the most objective, fair minded arbiter campaign reviewer. It still doesn't make any sense posting this 1 hr 33 minutes video on the site. I think almost nobody supports Cruz on this website. The most likely outcome from posting this video is that someone after watching this would say "hmm, this guy is good, I wonder what else he thinks about politics. He/she then goes to his website, views the couple dozen pro Trump video presentations and then decides to vote for Trump.

So you dissuaded virtually nobody from voting for Cruz and at the same time increased the chance of a few gullible RPF member voting fro Trump

Uhh, no, a lot of people on this site previously did support Cruz to some extent or as a back-up to Rand and many of those may turn to him now, which is a huge mistake..

I am going to back Cruz.

This video does mention Donald Trump a couple times, but doesn't really make much of a case for him. The main point of the video is to show how Ted Cruz' positions are very flimsy and that he has strong ties to the establishment and can't really be trusted.

However, again, I don't necessarily recommend sharing the video as much as the information contained within it depending on your audience. If they are totally undecided but leaning Cruz, then maybe just share the information with them. If they are pro-Cruz and like Rand a lot but don't think he can win or something and don't like Donald Trump then this is a good video to share. There is a wealth of information that someone who is open to new information would likely not be backing Cruz after seeing it.

Read her post and you would understand that she is essential making a tactical retreat. Rand her first choice now has a very low chance of winning the nomination, this defeat means that she has to choose(not really, cos she can still stay home) from on of the remaining candidates. I believe her second choice is still Rand but she is planning on voting for the candidate who can win. Its not an easy decision but I am confident that nothing in the OP would convince her to make Rand her No1 again

In fact I would help you bump this video but I don't think there's anyone on this forum who is backing Cruz that is going to be dissuaded by a 1 hr 33 minutes anti Cruz expose made by a staunch Trump supporter.

I am not sitting around watching Stefan blather for 90 minutes. Can someone get to the bloody point and tell me why Cruz isn't the least undesirable of likely nomination winners?

There is a full 90 minutes of information summarized in the video, you could hit the main title of each slide but it is much more informative if you actually look at all the research provided.

Meet Chad C. Sweet, Ted Cruz’s campaign chairman, former DoD/CIA/Goldman Sachs/Homeland Security.
Sweet co-founded the Chertoff Group with former Bush and Obama administration Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff.
As a leader of the Chertoff Group, Sweet “advocated for expanding NSA metadata collection.”
http://www.chertoffgroup.com/bios/chad-sweet.php

Meet one of Ted’s foreign policy advisors, James Woolsey, who was a national security specialist and former Director of the CIA under the Clinton administration. He heads up many Neoconservative groups including being the Chairman of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, and Founding Member of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy.

Meet Elliot Abrams, who helped craft Ted’s foreign policy. Abrams is a leader in the neocon world, and he is a leader of what is perhaps the most powerful and pernicious group in the neocon network: the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).
While the CFR is the most notorious of the associations of Abrams, it isn’t the only one. He is also a member (or former member) of the Center for Security Policy, Hudson Institute, National Endowment for Democracy, and many more.

Meet Ted’s ex-CIA PR guy, Dan P. Gabriel. Gabriel is involved in SIGINT aka interception – which is turned into propaganda. His twitter handle is @danpgabriel and he was one of the people pushing the angle that it was confirmed to the Cruz campaign that Carson was dropping out. After called out on the lie, the agent deleted the tweet and denies everything in typical spook fashion:
Ted Cruz PR CONFIRMED government agent! Actively working for Soros & US Army! Rabbit hole time…
