The Troops Support Ron Paul, DO YOU?

There should be an ad out there that trouts Ron Paul's tremendous support from the military in both 2008 plus 2012 and the fact he served while showing the truth that people like Newt and Romney are draft dodging chickenhawks.

This would really help in the Southern states where "support the troops" is basically one of the things to live by.

I suggest a good slogan at the end of the ad like "The troops support Ron Paul, do you?" or "Support the troops. Support Ron Paul." or "Support the troops by supporting Ron Paul".

Anything along these lines are bound to be a hard hitter that should put the cowards Newt Romney in their place.

I agree. If I were to pick one issue where Paul has most left potential untapped, it's his support among the military. He ought to have taken the mantle of the candidate of the military, but he's not done so. Anytime someone says his views are weak or dangerous, he ought to counter with his support that's larger than everyone else's combined.

I don't know how possible it is to conduct a poll of active duty military, but I've thought that would be an awfully good use of a few thousand dollars. I'm sure some group like PPP could figure out a way to do it.

As a servicemember, I agree. There is huge support for him within the military (as polling and fundraising numbers show) and this would definitely help him in SC and Florida. It may also be good to turn this into a whole foreign policy commercial.

The lead in could be Prime Minister Netenyahu stating that Israel can take care of itself and the Director of the Mossad saying that Iran is not that much of a threat. It could then flash the numbers of the other wars we were led into unconstitutionally and end with "If the troops agree with Ron Paul on foreign policy, why don't the Republicans?"
