Everybody, the time to act is now! Ron Paul is the only candidate in our lifetimes thus far who has the ability to bring the message of liberty and limited government masses, and unfortunately, I feel like he may be the only candidate with this opportunity for decades to come. There is nobody like Dr. Paul currently in government and it could be a very long time before someone is able to amass similar credentials to allow him to speak from the platform that Paul is afforded as a 10th term Congressman.

As government continues to grow at an alarming rate and our liberties continue to be trampled on, our chances for reversing this trend dwindle. Dr. Paul has had amazing success thus far, raising $5 million or more, amassing a huge following on the internet and many communities, and getting coverage on major shows like “The Daily Show” and “The Colbert Report” but we need to do a lot more to spread his message to the country at large.

By far the most important thing we can do to help spread Ron’s message and increase his chances of getting elected is donating to his campaign. Money is everything in politics today and without our monetary support, Ron Paul is at a large disadvantage to the “top tier candidates.” Please do your part by donating what you can spare (every little bit helps) for this incredible (and only) opportunity we have to spread the message of liberty to the nation. If we all do our part, we would be an unstoppable force. Act now - please do not let this chance slip away!

The price is small, and what would you pay to live in a country that is truly free with a government that actually follows the Constitution? There should be absolutely no excuse for not donating. $10-20 will mean nothing down the road no matter how much we might value it now as poor college students. It is VERY easy to skip spending money here or there to donate it to Dr. Paul.

Patrick Henry once said, “Give me liberty or give me death!” Are we not even willing to spend as little as $10-20 for the cause of liberty?

Ron Paul's Facebook group (http://wustl.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2229718737) is conducting a fundraiser aiming to raise at least $12,008 by June 30th, and I would like ALL of you to donate something to help out. So far in 3 days we have raised $7,300 through the fundraiser, but we can do much better with your help. At the current donation rate, if 1,000 people join in we would raise about $64,000! If 10,000 join, that would be $640,000! This kind of student run fundraiser could also get lots of attention in the media if we produce results.

Please donate what you can to the donation drive at http://www.students4paul.com/

Has everybody donated at least some amount of money to the campaign?

Great, thanks for the support! However, this thread has been viewed 67 times and I doubt every person who has seen this has donated. If you have not done so, please donate now, it is extremely important and we may never get a chance like this again.

Wow!! On the students website for donating to Paul, the statue of Liberty is almost ready to be Lit(Less than a thousand dollars to go)!!!

Maybe we need to make one on A Larger Scale, Like A Huge Statue of Liberty with Fireworks and a higher monetary goal!!!

I believe we will be raising the goal higher, but the support thus far has been very disappointing to me. We have spread this fund raiser to groups with probably 15,000 people plus and only 160 have contributed. I am really pissed off that people will not even throw in a few bucks for the cause.

The goal was met! Next goal, get ahead of and stay ahead of Obama in Facebook donations - http://www.students4paul.com/. They have 300,000 members in their group and have only raised $17,000 over a much longer period of time.

Well... I plan to donate 50 bucks this paycheck and then make it a weekly ritual to donate $10 every week.

I think it's safe to say that people who follow this forum have contributed some quantity of money to the campaign.

Well, not necessarily. A lot of people do not donate money because they think it is a waste or they expect others to do it for them.

I haven't donated yet, i've been unemployed since october. just start my own company... maybe i can give some before september.

I posted this in another thread.

The largest Barack Obama group on Face Book has over 300,000 members. Ron Paul’s 12,000 sound like small potatoes in comparison…at first glance. Our group just finished meeting a $12,008 fundraising goal within 5 days of its inception (the deadline was 6/30). 5 days. Obama's group of 300K also has a fundraiser and has raised $17,000 — since the founding of the group! That's well over 90 days. Publicly displayed records show that Obama's group had about 700 contributors (which is a .2% participation rate). Ron Paul's group has approx 12,300 members at present and met our target with 155 contributors (1% participation rate). The average donation was $50. Remember, we're all college students or recently graduated. Mathematically speaking, Dr. Paul’s group raised money at a rate of 20 cents per person, per day to meet its goal, while Obama’s group can only muster .06 cents (6/100ths of a cent) pp. pd. Mathematically, Ron Paul’s supporters are 333 times more passionate (in terms of dollars donated) about their candidate than Obama’s. This is because Obama's appeal is mostly superficial.

I am absolutely beaming with pride that we've done so well with this fundraiser. Please consider giving! Your donation goes completely to the Ron Paul campaign (you donate directly to the site); the third party site, students4paul is only there to keep track of the donations with your confirmation number! There is zero risk of fraud!

Show Obama, Iowa and the rest of the country that the passion and support for Dr. Paul is real! June 30th is coming quickly!
