I am active on a forum made up of hundreds of conservative Catholic women. I've seen Ron Paul grow on that group in a big way. Just a few days ago someone started a thread about not liking her options this election season and 8 or more women all started explaining Ron Paul's platform and linking to YouTubes.

That's great - I tried that regarding a homeschool loop (sent an article about some big names in homeschooling who support Ron Paul) and I immediately got a post saying "RP is a racist" with newletter links, etc. I HATE confrontations and was ready to drop it but instead got up my courage and replied; The newlsetters were an unfortunate error in judgement, he did not write them, and has apologized. He is the ONLY GOP candidate to go against the NDAA and has our best interests at heart. Take Care. This was at the time of Obama signing the NDAA.

No response after that, which I took as an end to the bashing.

we better not get 4th place in florida... ron paul did really well in the debates. imma assume something is up if santorum gets 3rd again -.-;;

I'd encourage you to realize that as far as elections go, there is a boatload of time between this debate and the actual florida primary. This debate will be forgotten by many florida voters because of the media and other campaign assault that they'll be under in the next few days.

There's plenty of time for the grassroots to campaign for Ron.

I am noticing the same shift. My pro-paul threads on facebook used to be filled with neo-con one-liners peppered with my responses. Now I usually have two-three people backing me up on each thread I start. Paul supporters are coming out of the closet and are more willing now to support him openly, and large percentage of others are quickly warming up to him.

I noticed the same thing, but the shift I noticed was from Obama to Paul; have not yet noticed a Mitt or Newt to Paul

The majority of the electorate are 55+ years old and they most definitely are still plugged into the corporate media propaganda machine and NOT catching on at all. Without their vote, Ron has 0% chance, no matter who else jumps on board.

While i agree with the poster of this thread. Please keep this in mind. There is no tide to turn, no mountain to climb or hurdle to overcome. Because there is no finish line in this contest. Our campaign is an immortal struggle between good and evil.

Hey I agree with you, the old people are not jumping on board and we have to face this reality. However, these ideas are not going away, and the shift that I mentioned is definitely happening. Eventually, those old people will die off and their statist ideas will go with them. Someday, the idea that government owns and controls us will be on the same level of morality as slavery. It's not happening overnight but it is happening!

I disagree. Thinking of it as good and evil is too monumental, and most will just give up. It's simply one conversation at a time. Taxation is theft and laws are not morals. Just one person at a time, not some epic battle of good and evil. Those who have supported democrats and republicans are NOT evil people, they were just mislead like many of us.

Deep down we're all on the same side. It just takes a bit of time to see this.
