Theocratic Dominionist Party

Motto: "All things for the glory, beauty, and verity of the triune God and for the unity, purity, and liberty of all mankind as they pertain to self, family, church, and civil governments."

Party Platform: The Bible is our final authority and standard for all matters of faith and practice in all realms of governance, but the human expressions of its truths can be examined in the excellent summaries found in the following statements and documents (this list is not exhaustive):
  • Athanasian Creed
  • Apostles Creed
  • Nicene Creed
  • Chalcedon Creed
  • Belgic Confession
  • Heidelberg Catechism
  • Second Helvetic Confession
  • Canons of Dort
  • Westminster Confession of Faith
  • Westminster Shorter & Larger Catechisms
  • Others
We also affirm the beliefs and expressions of civil governance as outlined in the following political documents, insofar as they don't contradict God's Word (this list is not exhaustive):
  • Magna Carta
  • Mayflower Compact
  • Salem Covenant
  • The Unanimous Declaration of Independence
  • U.S. Constitution & Bill of Rights
  • Others
Ultimately, to understand the details of the Theocratic Dominionist Party's platform on economic issues, domestic & foreign policy, social issues, law, and other items of interest, we prefer contact and interchange through debates and discussions, utilizing logic consistency, moral decency, and scientific analysis to gain knowledge, wisdom, and understanding of the issues and philosophies which shape culture and rule politics.

Women Are Co-Governors in Family Government

Oh, please. That isn't the only task they have as supporters and nurturers of their families. You're being overtly simplistic, my friend.

If you have a problem with women being rulers in their home, then I pity you. Remember this: the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world. ;)

What if the cradle is automated?

Men Make Men, Not Machines

What if the cradle is automated?

Then that family has a major problem in the way they raise their children and take care of their home. TV, video games, computers, etc. are no substitute for parental engagement and accountability in training their children in the way they should go.

For liberty to work you have to have moral society. Forcing morality does not work. We have to make that decision for ourselves.

well, the party platform seems to limit free expression to that which doesn't go agianst God's word. That sounds a bit to me like forcing people to be moral.

Speak On

Our party isn't about limiting anyone's freedom of speech. We hold to the view that whatever a person speaks, whether in thought or in speech, it will be known of God, and that person will be held accountable before the Almighty on Judgment Day for any idle word.

The Theocratic Dominionist Party welcomes freedom of speech in discussion and conversation, but we look down upon any speech which is blasphemous and/or obscene in nature (usually in modes to spite or ridicule an opposing view).

Fret Not About Theocracy

Would you limit any freedoms? If not what is the point of a theocratic governement?

It depends on what your definition of "freedom" is and its associated objects. A theocratic government recognizes that any government should be based on God's revelation and law because it is absolute and perfect. Man is not autonomous (having a sinful nature), and thus, each human needs to be governed and guided by his Creator (the Giver and Sustainer of rights and liberties) in all realms of life in order to reach the true purpose of life and obtain the things which account for the happiest, safest, and greatest treasures and hope both towards God and mankind.

Okay, never mind. Either you don't know what you are talking about or I'm too dense to understand it. Probably the latter.

What exactly are you trying to do with this thread? Alienate Christians? Identify Christians for the CIA?

No. Do you fear God or the State, my friend?

The world would be better off without both of them. ;)

Religion does not have a monopoly on morality. Get with the times. </IMHO> Ahahahahaha {such a cowards clause}
