Re: Rand's Endorsement.. and other pertinent issues..
This endorsement is probably one of the biggest temporary dividers of our movement to date.. and I say temporary because I firmly believe it will not cause any lasting damage to our are current efforts..
It has been hard to watch the infighting that has been caused by very valid feelings by many of confusion and anger..
I have my opinions and have expressed them, and even I am not 100% sure that I am right about this.. there is so much information that we all lack from what I can see.
The thing is, we have made so much progress in so many ways.. I came into this 5 years ago and I can remember clearly the political dialogue of the time.. It is literally day and night..
I think that the following must be said: We have candidates that are running for various federal and state offices, we have delegates preparing for a battle for party platform, we have Audit the Fed to pass through congress... the list could go on..
I always feel like we spend too much energy and invest too much importance in the presidential race... especially after a certain point.. I will not get into Ron's chances and that whole discussion.. its a matter of opinion still at this point.. and its not relevant to what I am getting at..
the point is that we have a lot we can still do and achieve..
I will be honest, I have been feeling a bit confused as to where exactly to put my energy into to institute real liberty-oriented change in policy.. I am still not exactly sure, but I do know we have some great liberty candidates to support.. I think we can all agree on that and work together to help in those respective races..
I will be talking to mods and Josh to make some new forums for candidates that deserve them yet haven't gotten one yet.. please post suggestions..
hope this isn't half as convoluted as it seems to me
