The sheep have spoken

Nothing beats victory, this is true.

However, this is not merely a campaign, it is a rEVOLution.

If all you seek is victory in this GOP nomination and NOTHING else, then Ron Paul is not doing well.

However, if what you seek is to WAKE UP the American people to the lies they are fed by the powers-that-be, Ron Paul is winning.

I WANT to see Ron Paul elected president, and to that end I will do as much as I can to help his campaign and follow his lead whether to back him for a 3rd party run or at a brokered convention.

It would be much easier if he were to win a majority of delegates but that possibility is getting smaller over time.

Whatever happens, I will never trust the MSM again, and I will never vote for a politician who is not willing to show by word and deed that they will strictly follow the Constitution in all their political decisions.

Hopefully whatever happens in this campaign there will be millions more like be by the time it is over.

If Ron Paul can't do better than 5th place in SC with the kind of dismal voter turnout that occured here today, this campaign is done.

I can't tell you how disappointing this is.

Hopefully the "movement" will survive and continue.

FIRST, the weather was TERRIBLE.

SECOND, the voting machines weren't working and don't have a paper trail.

THIS is just one state.

THERE ARE MORE TO WIN. You know who's running out of money. SO JUST DONATE ON 1/21/08.

STOP WHINING...

peeps in sc like ron paul but think he cant win...........thus your result.
I believe this to be very accurate. I had a conversation the other day with someone on the fence about Ron Paul. She questioned if voting for him was a wasted vote. I finally made her come around, but this just proves that people need desperately to be educated and informed about how important this process is and how imperative it is that Ron Paul leads this nation.

Benjamin Franklin stated at the signing of the U.S. Constitution that we the people had wrought a Republic, if we can keep it. Well, apparently we are losing the Republic!

to be totally honest in my opinion this only means that the REAL big winners are the SOCIALISTS....only a very small minority of people actually want self-determination and liberty. the country has slipped or maybe is free-falling now.... Don't lash out at the realists that only draw attention to the facts.

Is there hope?? Yes. But Paul himself has stated that the people will "come around" by being forced to do so economically.

Well said WilliamC.
G. Edward Griffin addresses the fixation we all have with the desire to "win" in an intro for Ron Paul in Mountainview CA:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sw6zhIiGCvg

PLEASE WATCH THIS AGAIN IF YOU THINK WE CAN"T WIN!!!!

This whole charade we are witnessing is providing our greatest opportunity to expose the frauds and wake people up... as long as we keep Ron's war chest funded, we have several months to work in getting his message out, and as our economy and the frauds on Wall St. come apart this spring, the message will begin to ring true even unto the minds who long ago chose the Blue Pill...

The entire concept of calling voters sheep because they voted contrary to your beliefs is a bit backwards. I certainly hope such namecallers aren't the ones canvassing, because that could be pretty telling in of itself.

Blame those that deceive the voters, not the voters themselves.

No.

Those that are deceived by and large let themselves be deceived. I would go so far as to say WANT to be deceived.

It's just like this "stimulus package" of Bush's - sure I want my $400 or $800 or whatever as much as anyone, but it doesn't take a lot of common sense to know that this "rebate" is not going to slow government spending one damn bit, meaning more debt, meaning congratulations! If you are an adult with children you just effectively borrowed $400 or $800 or whatever from your kids and oh yeah, you aren't gonna pay it back - THEY WILL.

But people don't want to think they just think about the big screen TV they want to buy with their rebate and stimulate the economy.

I do not blame anyone for not wanting to question being given $400-$800 seemingly for free. I blame those in charge, who prefer to stick gum in the cracks of the dam just to ward off disaster until their successors take over. I do not blame those who believe in candidates that promise that things will be better under their presidency. I blame the candidates who make those promises without having any idea or intent to fulfill them.

I agree that it would be nice if more people were genuinely thoughtful about who they vote for, but I just feel that a "blame the liars" perspective is more reasonable than a "blame those that believe them" perspective... especially when there are so many wolves in sheep's clothing, as there are in this election.

We don't need fair weather patriots here. Feel free to leave if you just want ot curl up and die and be a quitter.

That may be hard to do with this kind of help. Please take your wet dream somewhere else.
