I think this thread raises a valid concern. I am shocked that so many are making fun of a possible constitution crisis.

People aren't making fun of the idea of the Con Con not being a concern. Their making fun of the doomsday prophecys. The whole running in a circle screaming the sky is falling. In all honesty it's a bit absurd to try and relate a Con Con to a doomsday situation. Sure, it could be a very bad situation, but one that will have me hiding in a bunker, living off my months worth of backed up food?

I have said before that, where was all this alarm when it came to all the 'mini con-cons' that have happened across these past several decades? Every new unconstitutional law, or regulation or court decision over that time has represented 'a constitutional crisis.' Are we only mobilized to act when the Total State goes for the overt kill?
Is our movement only suited for big Presidential campaigns or oppositions to the Big con-con? What is our back-up plan when this convention does at last happen? Will we idly go 'woe is us' as the real Bill of Rights goes bye-bye, or will we go to the thing and roll amendents in our direction?

Good for you Specialty, I've been too busy in NY to notice.
