Nice article generally, but I take some issue with this statement:

This is not a strange Bay State phenomenon. Paul backers are taking over GOP state party machinery across the country. That could have long-term implications for the fight between libertarians and social conservatives in the GOP.

I consider myself a libertarian and a social conservative. There is no fight between these two. The fight exists between social "conservatives" and liberals that want the government to enforce social conservatism. These liberals often call themselves social conservatives, but we know better.

Without reading the article,
I take issue with the title ... The uninformed have been conditioned to hear the word "insurgency" and equate it with negativity.

But ... If it gets people to read it, so be it.
