Also my take was that it's fun and light on the surface. This is very important for people who aren't predisposed politically to be willing to read and have a laugh at the media. The last thing you want is something that either puts people on the defensive or forces them to have to think too critically. You might as well preach to the choir.

The response you ultimately want is "lol CNN with another biased Ron Paul story." They'll know if they ever want to hear about Ron Paul that they can't rely on the MSM.

It's a mistake to use anything like #BiasedMedia #DontBeSheep #CheckYourSource etc.

These are good, but it's more credible if you can attach a media person's name or a station to a specific quote. And a link to the quote is even better.
