The Revolution: A Manifesto #1 on NYT Bestseller List (as of May 18)

Is it just me or does most of the list (both fiction and nonfiction) seem like a Lifetime viewer's reading list...

Check out no.7 in fiction... lol.

Furthermore, Ron Paul's offical price of $21 for the big chains... is still the CHEAPEST on offer...
And on Amazon, its Half that!

LOOKS like a Free Market type of book, is winning... as its providing the cheapest product possible. The CONSUMER is benefiting here in sooo many ways ;) Best product for the remarkably cheapest price.

I just wanted to say it deserves it! I just finished the book and I loved it. I believe this could win the election.

Still has that "bulk order" dagger next to it.
?
shipping.
gas.
What is wrong with "bulk" as long as it isn't something that should NOT be carried across international lines, if it otherwise wouldn't be--- and wouldn't DAMAGE part of the local economy?

Sweet job guys. I preordered this book from Amazon and got it about 2 days before its official release date. I have been bogged down since with the ending of college but today was my last day of instruction so now I can finally finish this book. I have a feeling this book is well worth the investment.

IIRC the "bulk order" tag was put in when the "Church" of Scientology bought massive amounts of "Battlefield Earth" to put it in the NYT Bestseller list.

It implies that, while the book is the bestselling book, the sales have been tampered with to imply more readers than actually exist. This is somewhat true; poeple here on RPF talk about buying more than one to boost the count, or to send to delegates/congressman etc...

Don't get me wrong, #1 is great. But it means nothing if new poeple don't read The Revolution.

Thank goodness for RPTX, and the Church of Scientology-
if it weren't for "him" and "Them" (why the Scientologists AND the pessimists of course) , no one would have heard of "bulk order"
nevermind canning or drying.

Is that like common knowledge to the readers?

The dagger, to me, is alot like an asterisk: it implies a "special exception" that makes #1 not seem as important. Don't get me wrong; this is a huge victory.

Also, what does revolutionary8 mean?

EDIT: Upon realizing I didn't actually answer Conza88's question, yes, the list does explain what the dagger means- "A dagger (†) indicates that some bookstores report receiving bulk orders.

Send a copy to your State Senator or State Representative with a note attached, "Please read this and learn something. Remember you pledged an oath of office to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America. I will watch how you vote from now on and will vote for your opponent if you violate it one more time. This is your last warning" Signed One of the We the People Remember you work for me not the other way around. Now that the freedom message is out you will be fired, I can assure you.

I take that as meaning, its fken awesome - and going viral. More books on the way.. currently empty on shelves, as they've all sold out.

I mean, what do they expect though... 1 million voters for RP. Thats a guarenteed 1 million copies sold. Then like 10+ for people distributing.. Lol.. then like I dunno whatever for the fact that people are going to be interested in the fact its no. 1... so more + sales. Then you have INTERNATIONAL supporters, who want it as well.. LoL.

Mine arrived today.. YEARGHHH!

RPTXState is right. That dagger was the first thing I noticed. In fact, it's explained on Wikipedia. Anyways, I just want to know how they knew we were making bulk orders. Are they fishing around these forums?
