I know that these terms have become completely bastardized, but libertarianism is a right-wing ideology in any logic-based political spectrum.

Libertarianism exists as both a left and right wing. Unfortunately, their is libertarian's who don't endorse Capitalism. There are such things as Libertarian-Socialists, which, I find to be contradictory in nature.

It's impossible to apply libertarianism to any wing, considering that Libertarianism is an ideology. Whereas, left or right (democracy or republic), are sociologies.
