The Rand Paul Bus Tour

do you have any more details about how this is going to work? is this going to be like the Straight Talk Express? or more like the "green pickup truck?";)

is Rand just gonna load up on a bus and travel the state campaigning? what are his stops going to be? will there be overpriced, limited edition tour tshirts?

From what I hear they can only stop in certain counties due to warrants. That and anywhere that might have a local hooch dealer. But, that could just be my bus tour..... ok, van tour. Alright, my vespa tour.

YouTube - Who Got The Hooch?

Seriously, though I think they are spending a lot of time in the 5th district (God's country to some of us) and making rounds through key voting areas. I don't think they'll release the location and dates just yet.

I can't remember but, does anyone know if some of the Eastern Kentucky counties have "Court Days" before the primary?

Rowan County (not in the 5th, but easternish) has a Court Days but im not sure when it is. Floyd County has some festivals, but they're in the fall. Pike County has Hillbilly Days (one of biggest festivals in the state) in April 15-17.

I'd email them the Hillbilly days. They probably have it, but it wouldn't hurt.

I used to live in Maysville and that whole Bracken to Ashland Kentucky region has court days. Maysville's was huge when I was younger. Not so sure now.

Just looked up Hillbilly days. here is the link to pics from 2009:

Another great site: http://www.kyfestivals.com/

I think most court days are before the General.

yeah hillbilly days is AWESOME.

the moonshine flows like water, bluegrass music is everywhere, people from all over return "home" to celebrate with their fam and friends

i think it was originally a Hatfield & McCoy joint faimily reunion that turned into a huge deal lol
