Gold keeps marching on! Single handly protesting the government in a way that would make Jefferson very, very proud!

I'm pretty sure we're in record territory right at the moment... ~ $1360 with silver @ ~ $23.50

hahaha it's keeping me awake if it keeps going up at this rate i'll be up all night
you have much position in gold?

Not currently. I hold some physical gold though, but never enough in these times. I originally started buying gold when the price was about $260 in 2001 or so. With the upcoming election, I'm a bit nervous speculating in precious metals... ;)

Hope you make a financial killin' tonight! Good luck! :)

yeh i meant physical, i lost money speculating with leverage on the metals. Best to stick to physical.

Hmmm...

Gold just dropped about $20 in less than an hour, but inching its way back up.
Someone trying to trigger panic selling?

This huge pull back (in silver) today was justified, short term it was over bought. It will probably consolodate a bit here and the go up again...down 56 cents in USD and 29 cents in CAD today...

I wouldn't be surprised to see 22$ silver in USD as the consolodation. From there I think a leg up to the 25 area is realistic.

Nah this is just making a base for a huge rally.
Remember Jim Sinclair sees gold at 1650 before 14 januari.
Silver could well reach 30 if he's true.

If Sinclair is calling high gold then it's time to sell baby!

Honestly, I'm waiting for the dust to settle from this upcoming general election. At that point, I'll assess the likely immediate and longer term potential of the US dollar. I really do want to speculate some money in the currency and commodity markets in some form. We'll see.

Lastly, when I went to bed, I thought that precious metals might correct a bit as the business day got underway in the US.
