"The Potential Impact of Ron Paul and Mike Bloomberg..Rasmussen polls

The best scenario always would have been Clinton/Giuliani. Paul could run anti-war pro-life and attract a lot of votes.

Ron Paul is a lot closer to the 15% support required than I expected. (To get in the debates.)

Best News Here...

The best news for me with this piece can be found in one of the comments following the story. These numbers are valid while only 20% of Americans know who Ron Paul is. Imagine his support if people actually knew about him!

Or, to put it another way, an even better way...

All this support for our man comes from only 20% of the population! Everybody else has full "saturation", and they can only go down. Ron Paul can only go up!

Viva la Ron! Viva la R3VOLution!

Romney will take off the gloves with liberal McCain, and flame his ass, we'll be waiting in the wings to take either one of them out. If they brother-in-law each other, the public will see them as working together and flame both their lying asses.

What’s most striking about these matchup numbers is that only about 20% of people in the country even know who Ron Paul is, let alone what he stands for, and yet he draws that much support. Once they find out more about him, those numbers will go up, as they have steadily for the last year. Republicans better wake up, assess their situation and start treating him with respect, or they are in big trouble come November.

I wonder where we can find info on that? What's Ron's name recognition, even?

And to think we've already given up on the Blimp. <sigh>

Romney is far and away our biggest threat right now. It isn't even close with the others.

McCain will not take any of the anti-illegal or serious pro-gun vote.

Most conservatives aren't voting at all right now, they're still waiting for a miracle. They hate the whole field. When forced to choose, they have to decide between accepting taxes, accepting amnesty (and gun control), accepting a humble foreign policy, or accepting a flip-flopper. For most it comes down to the last two. And people will largely pick based on who is winning right now of those two, even though only one has any chance at all against a Democrat.

The field narrowing behind Romney is the worst thing that could happen to us. We need the others in to galvanize the bystanders to come out and vote against them.

This is huge. If only 20% know him, then he can possibly go up to 35%. Ron Paul will win in a landslide!

this is it, we NEED run to push on regardless, because it's about getting this message out on a national scale. it still astounds me how many people haven't heard about Dr. Paul ... because they just don't care. if we can turn 11% of the population to support the ideas of Dr. Paul ... that is HUGE.
