We all know on this forum some support this effort and some don't.

I'd like to start a thread that people can show their support through.

Let the guys organizing this know we are behind them. We support their efforts and can't wait to see the Blimp fly!

If you disagree I politely ask you to use one of the many other posts to voice your concerns.

GO RON PAUL!

Elijah, you've been doing some great work. Now can you just answer the questions people have asked so we can tell the trolls to shut up and go away, and to convince the well-meaning people who aren't sure what's going on that this is a worthwhile project?

I don't like this thread, I disagree with it.

The funny thing is that 80% of all Elijah/Trevor fans joined in November, a few in October, and a few in December, but only about 20% are from anyone who has been working on this forum for longer. Isn't that interesting?

You disagree with people being able to come to a thread and speak with other like minded individuals? You disagree with a thread that can show the amount of support an idea / effort has without wading through the negative answers? There is a thread, actually several threads for you to go back and fourth on. This is a thread of solidarity and support. If you want to start an opposing one be my guess, but we all deserve a place we can go and speak with others who support this effort.

I can't purchase a timeshare on the blimp (non-US citizen) but I would like to. I am very impressed by the innovation and entrepreneurial spirit shown by the principals involved with this endeavour. And, personally, I am happy that it is now a company with employees and such. The people behind this are now relying on it to earn money, that means they have so much more incentive to make it great. If they make money on it, that means they've done a great job. Capitalism is beautiful.

i wish all parties involved the very best in all endeavors. hopefully the air will clear around all of this and it will exceed all possible expectation.

Oh come on....you mean to tell me that when you look at the blimp..with those luscious curves...you don't want to curl up with it and run your fingers along its rudders as you enter its gondola.... to plot it's course with the Super fine GPS module is has?....

...you know you want to....Ohhhhhh Yeeeeeahhahahhaaaaa....:D

.....That's right...I said gondola......look it up..:)

I pledged $100, and I will be fulfilling my pledge tomorrow. Personally, I trust people who believe in Ron Paul, and am willing to take a chance on that trust. (If something were to "go wrong," there are civil remedies available, regardless of the stated Terms.)

When George Washington asked people to follow him, they didn't say "let me read the fine print." ;)

The blimp will be one of the best advertising for the ron paul campaign. I remember reading about it on the forum and was like "What, a freaking blimp???". It will catch a lot of attention.

Yes, I'm another Johnny-come-lately who feels he has a right to express his opinion...

Thank you Elijah and co. for getting this together. A private, for profit company was the only real way to get this done and I think you have all taken a reasonable path. There is so much quibbling about alternative A vs. alternative B. Some decisions matter a great deal but most don't make a hell of a lot of difference one way or the other. Where the blimp flies, how much the organizers get paid, could volunteers take some of the positions, etc. - relatively minor matters that will not be significant issues when it is all over and done. Whether the blimp goes up at all? That's something that will make a difference.

I was never crazy about the idea but you all are taking initiative and putting something together. Thank you.

A purchase from me is incoming.
