The other Ron Paul forum. Who's better?

Oh yea, at Ronpaulnation/board they have a feature that i would love to see here.

It is the link that you can use to see topics of active discussion, and the link to unanswered posts. It would be great if this site had that sort of feature... maybe it does and I'm not seeing it?

I use the "New Posts" link up there at the top almost exclusively. There is even a little icon thing that will let you jump to the first post you didn't read in that forum.

That's what I use to see topics of active discussion.

THere's room for everybody on the internet.

In fact having multiple RonPaul threads/sites/forums throughout the internet creates more RonPaul traffic and more links and more sites to explore when you type "Ron Paul" in google or other search engine.

Those web spiders/crawlers head to different websites and keep expanding his name, so it is a good thing.

Right now if RonPaulForums.com goes down atleast we can still maintain some communication through a backup system.
Exactly, the redundancy is good. One thing is for sure, there are plenty of Ron Paul supports to go around. :)

It is possible to do this, just go to the forum and select "Replies" - set to ascending order. Here is a direct like to what you get:

This is for sure the way to go, you can also exclude sub-forums in your "New Post" search, such as Hot Topics by bookmarking the following like:

http://www.ronpaulforums.com/search.php?do=getnew&exclude=54 - not hot link
http://www.ronpaulforums.com/search.php?do=getnew&exclude=54 - hot link

You can change this to exclude whatever you want, just change the 54 to something else or add by using A,B,C,D etc.

Or you can just do an include only search:

http://www.ronpaulforums.com/search.php?do=getnew&include=2,3 - not hot link
http://www.ronpaulforums.com/search.php?do=getnew&include=2,3 - hot link

The moderator over there doesn't like us for some reason. He's banned people that have mentioned this forum.

Why is that? odd...

In regards to the other sites mentioned, maybe they could forward their visitors to this website? Or maybe have it mirror this forum.

We don't know, the mods never said. I wonder if this kind of thread would float over there... they might have lightened up a bit.

I've PM'ed their admin, there's really no issue- at one point he was a bit concerned about trolls. I think it's great we have multiple sites going and things keep growing...
