The Opie and Anthony Show Audience: Fertile Paul Grounds?

Both shows are too unpredictable to be a good idea. The last thing we need is Paul getting grilled on his sex life by Stern, despite Stern's probable sympathies. It would be good, however, to get Stern to endorse. Perhaps a phone interview. But no in-studio stuff.

howie wouldn't give a shit unless he could make money off of it. don't get me wrong...i used to be a howie fan, but he isn't the same.

#1 Sorianofan is right. I've been an O&A fan since they were on WAAF in Boston and there's no way you're going to get Anthony to buy into the non-interventionist, no nation building, paleo-conservative mantra. I dunno how many times I've heard the phrase "they hate us for our freedoms" used by him on the show when referring to terrorists. Also thought Israel was completely justified in their use of force against Lebanon last summer (2006 Lebanon War) and that Americans are not willing to do the jobs that illegal immigrants will do. Personally, I disagree profoundly with both these views.

Opie tends to stay out of the political discourse so I really don't know where the hell he stands (except for the fact that he's no longer pulling for Obama and shouting his name into the mic every 15 minutes) but Anthony, imo, is about as close to being a neo-con as you can get.

On a side note, I'd still LOVE to see the boys pull for RP and maybe even do a phoner with him...provided the notorious Steve from Yellowstone doesn't call in

#2 the idea of Stern supporting a stand up guy Ron Paul is a joke.
