The only way for a President Paul is to be VP first?

if you think about unlikely Presidents most were VP first.

no way would Andrew Johnson, Chester Arthur, Teddy Roosevelt, Harry Truman, LBJ, Jerry Ford, or Bush 41 would have ever won a nomination without being VP.

Romney can't win in Nov without the Paul vote. electoral map today is 284 to 170.

I couldn't vote for that ticket because of what's going to happen with the economy and the world in the next four years. Because Americans are so stupidly ignorant, they'll likely vote democrat in 2016 if Romney is President during the collapse.

Robert Caro made the rounds promoting his LBJ book Passage of Power, and he kept mentioning that LBJ realized no southerner could win the nomination, but as VP he had a 1 in 6 chance.

maybe not the best option for Ron, but it would give Rand a head start.

paul could never be the vp because the vp must be a champion for the presidents positions

Ron Paul is not even going to endorse Romney. There is no way he would accept a VP slot unless Romney agreed to most of his positions. Romney can't be trusted, he is a flip-flopper and will say whatever it is he thinks people want to hear to get what he wants, which is power.

Thats not the way our founders set it up.

BUT - I've already pledge not to vote for Romney, no lessor of evils and all.
