The Onion is not MSM, it is a Grassroots Funded college paper started by students at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee... and I'm damn proud of it. =) It is the best source for REAL news in this country.

It is supposed to be outlandish and funny, that lets you know it's fake, yet it's still credible because the information they are presenting might as well be true, as corrupt as all these companies, groups, and candidates are...

Started reading the ONion back in the 90s on the web. Friend of mine got an Onion Classics book from the 90s. Was flipping through it and a parody was a FAT kid Suiing Fast Food for eating too much. It was funny then but its all truth now.

WE NOW LIVE IN A BIZARRO WORLD. Fiat is money, Gold is not. Parody is real and Real news is really the joke. Please feel free to add other bizarro examples.

It's funny because it's true. This is reminding me of TV shows in Poland during the 80's under communism. You only heard resemblence of truth on the comedy shows. There's this one from 1983 "Alternatywy 4" which basically spells it out for you what it's like living under total central government planning. Lets just say that the whole idea of central planning is a very sick parody as far as I'm concerned.

BTW, Poland was the first country besides the US, to have a constitution based on the US one. A few years later Poland ceased to exist as a country for over 100 years. Anti-liberty forces are very strong in this world.
