I did A LOT of reading since last night. I read all the newsletters, comments, and all the explanations I could find. I now 100% believe that Dr. Paul's only fault in this matter is not reviewing what was printed under his name during his 10 year absence from congress.

Just to put it into perspective:
EVERY OTHER POLITICIAN HAS DONE MUCH WORSE THAN DR. PAUL. Iraq, patriot act, HR1955, etc.

I can accept his "moral responsibility" and forgive his oversight in this matter and fully support him without any reservations. My doubts have been erased.

If you feel the same way, post below.

If you do not, go here for some good information that should make you feel better.

Cheer up everyone!

Same for me.

I lost a whole day of work on this today, but it was worth it because now I do feel I can go on with a clear conscience.

yes, I knew about the newsletter thing previously before the Tucker thing. But when I heard those disgusting phrases coming out of that punk's mouth right on NATIONAL TELEVISION and attributing them directly to Dr. Paul! Hell yeah I think I just about puked my heart out of my rib cage! Then, of course after reading stuff here and noodling around and also the profound belief in my soul Ron Paul could never utter what that kid said... I am definitely at peace with the whole issue, even better than before!

This was an obvious attempt to fracture RP's strongest attribute... US, We the People! I refuse to let that happen! Come on, aren't we smarter and better than that? I will not be made to feel embarrased by my support, the message (yes, even more important than the messanger) is strong, is right, and I can't give that up now!

I thought everyone knew about the racist newsletter already. It's in his wikipedia and in many other places. I've seen numerous stories on this. Why are we even talking about it?

Scans were released Monday evening and it's been brought up again. Been smacked down again, too. By many independent sources including Dondero (who, by the way, has everything to gain by them being true as he's running against Paul this year for congress).

Yes yes yes! I'am so glad that somebody finally posted this!

I tried to reason with the guys in oneo f the other rascism threads but they wont even listen, they just go back to the same petty and insecure speeches about how Dr. Paul isnt the man they though he was and how the USA is not ready for him.

Well I for one am glad that somebody came thru here. We'll never win this thing unless we stay positive and stay strong!

Remember that half the fight is keeping morale up not just for our sake but for the sake of the media and everybody still on the fence. We want them to see us and say "wow, they should be scared right now but they're still (to steal a phrase from Mr Obama) fired up, maybe theres somethinga to this Ron Paul guy after all!"

Already knew about it, and it is actually nice that he added something on the official site addressing it.

He is handling it perfectly.

It is clear those aren't his words. He is guilty of being too careless with his name in the past, and that's it.

The official statement is marvelous. Once again his enemies fail. Mods here need to take care of posters that have no interest in the truth.
