Oh I liked him alot when I was a young man before I knew what he created. He also took political partisanship into the stratosphere. The biggest problem with Rush is that the conversations we have today about politics have roots in the type conversations and talking points he pioneered in the 80's and 90's. I'm not sure that stuff has exactly been healthy for the country's dialogue about our differences.

To be fair, Ron Paul said the same thing only with the caveat that people who paid into the system should get what they paid for, younger generations should have the option to not join the program.

Because it's unrealistic to turn off programs that people are dependent on without a plan. I dunno if Trump understands this but Ron outlined it often and with at least a conceptual framework.
