4 through 7 are refreshing. Welch is clearly ignorant on the negotiating tactics that lead to free trade agreements. You don't let other countries walk all over in so called 'free trade' deals. Being a hardass with the threat of tariffs leads to 'free and fair' trade. We have the starting advantage with countries that desire access to our markets.

5. I have no problem with border control, especially considering the seemingly unmanageable exodus flowing out of Central America.
6. Ron Paul has voted against a few managed trade deals that eventually became law. The current trading pacts are inefficient from America's perspective. They need to be redrawn.
7. I have no issues with curtailing China's trade violations. I agree with you that the currency manipulation line is bunk. All governments globally are racing to devalue as much as humanly possible.

1. Unless they are being granted federal assistance in some manner or legal advantages, I don't see how he can punish them. I disagree there.
2. Have no qualms with this affirmation. Trump has knowledge exploiting the system.
