U.S. Army Reserve, 1983-1991. Started out as an E-2 and finished as a 1LT Engineer officer.

Where were you stationed? I worked I-Level Avionics on FA-18s in Beaufort, SC....I got out in April 2002 though. I was actually getting out while they were recalling people back to goto Iraq. Talk about some pissed off people

We were in Turkey 01-03. What a crappy time to be there. How was it while you were there?
 
I served from Sep '98 - May '05 in the USAF. My AFSC (MOS) was 3C051, C4I (Computer ;)) Technician.

Lackland AFB San Antonio TX 1998 (Basic Training)
Keesler AFB Biloxi MS Oct 1998-Feb 1999 (Technical Training)
Kelly AFB (HQ AIA or "Security Hill") San Antonio TX 1999-2001 (Kelly was shutdown and is now a Lackland annex)
Osan AB Korea 2001-2002
Andersen AFB Guam 2002-2003
Ramstein AB Germany 2003-2005
And I did a 4 month stint in Ali Al Salem AB Kuwait from Aug 2004 - January 2005.

Was he in support ? The name sounds fimiliar?

I'm Not sure but he has been in the 82nd for nearly 18 years. His folks live near me and he was a kid in our amateur radio club in the 80's. I don't know how many times he has deployed but a lot. I know his was deployed in desert storm as well. He has red hair.

Hated to leave the military with 13yrs of service but I knew staying was not the right thing to do...
