The Official "Constitution Day" Money-Bomb Donation Thread

Buy the signs.

If you get the signs from the campaign, the $300 counts towards the money bomb anyway. :)

Don't mind if I do! :)

This should kick off the fall season quite nicely in my neck of the woods... :D

Now that I think of it, I don't think I will have room in my house to store them all! LOL

If anyone in Jersey wants to take pick up some signs for free, PM me! :)

No, not like this. He is clearly donating every minute, or at most every 5 minutes and has been for the past hour.

Yard signs. The work you do in placing the yard signs creates value; far more value than the campaign's cost of producing the yard signs. Just imo :)

I would argue that putting signs up now is not the best time to be putting signs up. I'd wait.

I was thinking one or two a week in various places... Nothing overbearing. Just subtle reminders.

Sent $200 to the campaign, and passed the message along to several friends who will ship some amount to Paul.

Thank you!
Thank you for your generous donation!

OK, finally there was an update where it looks like it was just him, and it went up by $100. I think -- can anyone confirm who's reading the actual data feed? So, good job Spencer Arnett, though why you'd donate over and over every minute to keep your name on the ticker instead of just once is beyond me.

It may be a revolving ticker that replays the signers over time randomly and you are seeing his name every so often because he donated the max.
Just a thought...

This needs to happen asap.

But with the numbers to Iowa and New Hampshire a lot bigger so there's time to actually use the money to win!

what state?

I will add that I had forgotten that the money that you'd spend on the signs would go to the total. Which does tend to equalize the pros and cons of each.

I'm just not a fan of signs, months before other campaigns have signs.

It could make us look dedicated and enthusiastic, or it could make us look weird.

If I had 100 signs, and wanted them. I would try to find 100 supporters locally to get a free sign. Right there, you have 100 people
who can be moved into the volunteer system.

The sign is more valuable as a tool to get more specific supporters, rather than an advertisement.

Spend 200 on signs and spend 100 on robocalls.

Robocall - Who is the champion of the constitution? - answer correctly and win a free sign.
rp08orbust will be able to call just your zip code (perhaps). For $100, I bet he could get you 50 phone numbers of people who want your sign.
You call them, take their info, and give them the sign. You can also tell them about the meetup group and tell them that the official campaign may be contacting them at a later time.

Under those condiditions, I would think signs would be the way to go. I would assume that many of the people would wait before putting up their sign. So, if you are getting signs into the hands of the Ron Paul supporters, months before the election, that would be seen as a good thing.

Great advice! Anyone in Jersey need some signs??

Maybe he's in a bar, with a smartphone or a tablet, and he's impressing people, or he's at a party, playing some kind of game? If you xxx, I'll donate $100 to the Ron Paul campaign. I'm just saying it doesn't seem that far fetched.
