She did not speak about what she would do to reduce government.
She did not speak about what she would do to lower taxes.
She did not speak about what she would do to restore civil liberties.
She did not speak against the war in Iraq.

I want to comment on the part I bolded above...
These speeches are always without any merit, but she went a step farther than ignoring civil liberties...she spoke with utter contempt for them. That's quite a bit worse.

Dude she can't just go up in front of the RNC and start forming her own policy and disagree with everything Mccain and the republican talking heads have been saying. She isn't running for president. She has to talk to the base and support the top of the ticket.

I dunno, she delivered one hell of a speech if you ask me. I disagreed with about 80% of what she said though. Obama gives a good speech and I disagree with about 90% of what he says. That doesn't take away from the fact that I can admit he's well spoken.

Modern politics is nothing more than a horse race or professional wrestling event. Kind of like Ron Paul talks about in his book when he references how there are no relevant issues discussed in the media and it's littered with discussions about 100 dollar haircuts. The new world order will push on with their agenda and it will be business as usual. We don't need them slaves learning about to complex things like banking and the constitution. And I'm sure she will be arm candy once the necons go into full gear and it will be police state city.


That's why Ron Paul was so refreshing because he injected relevant issues into the debates and the media.

The more she irritates most of the members of this forum the better off the McCain campaign will be. Most people here don't seem to understand that their views are way outside the American mainstream. The initial Palin love-fest on these forums had me thinking McCain was done, but that appears less likely now.

Anyway, i have to agree with tones on this

I like her, allot, i think she has to say what she has to say now to be McCain's VP lets not fool ourselves. What she does against McCain or how she can influence is another story, sure i have seen the smears and posts against her but not much proof on those claims.

If it makes anyone feel any better i was considering her to stop Hustein/BinLaden but after seeing that evil Giulia, and Romney parade the stage it made me throw up, Huckabee is OK with me, he has a nice way of attacking and funny I came from the Huckabee camp on the second debate when i heard Ron Paul speak.... I will probably sit this one out or vote for Barr the lesser evil
