A few things have been posted about the pro-gay propaganda during the halftime show...then, there's this too:

While fighter jets soared overhead, armed troops patrolled Levi Stadium.

From the fighter jets soaring overhead to the armed troops patrolling Levi Stadium, Super Bowl 50 was a highly militarized event, its 70,000 spectators and millions of television viewers subject to a showcase of war propaganda and heavy security crackdown.

To much fanfare, the Armed Forces Chorus, comprised of 50 men and women from the Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, and Air Force, kicked off the massive sports event by singing "America the Beautiful” from the field. CBS’ broadcast of the song cut away to footage of uniformed troops standing at attention, with text on the screen reading, “United States Forces Afghanistan.” The clip was a nod to a brutal war and occupation, now stretching into its 15th year, as top generals press for an even slower withdrawal.

Wow, I watched the Super Bowl and didn't see any of this.

Maybe that's because I left the room every time Denver and Carolina weren't actually playing the damn game. Fuck the commercials, fuck the military state, and fuck the Half Time show.

You did the right thing. The NFL is almost a branch of the military by now

The article reads like someone who has never been to a NFL game before. Most regular televised games cut all that stuff out, but every NFL game I've been to has soldiers on the field for the pre-game ceremonies, giant US flags, depending on the weather they do flyovers, during a TV time out they call for a standing ovation for someone who either died in action, or made it back.

I spent Sunday doing college homework because I don't follow sports.

However, I was a little curious about the Halftime Show and it's already on YouTube. I played it a little bit and this Beyonce person just serves up mediocre EDM. It irritates me when somewhat culture events like this or New Years Eve have such forgettable pop music. We should be getting something that is is heavy and powerful and memorable.

Nothing new here.

These farces have been nothing but security orgasms and dog and pony shows of the police state for ten years now or more.

Only Idiot AmeriKunts could sit in a giant open air prison, with phalanxes of scowling, heavily armed state enforcers hut hutting about, and sing about how free they are.

Obvious NWO Illumnati Satanic symbolism in Beyonce's video

I think Prince turned them down this year.

Not really. I haven't attended an NFL game in years, but I see the military presence in televised regular season games every week...also Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine commercials in almost every break.
