/////// The last thing I did OFFLINE to support Ron Paul was .... \\\\\\\\\

Sold all my investments at schwab as they were an advertiser for the forum and looked into buying gold.

Actually I called my California coordinator as we have a meeting tonight with my meetup.

I just got back from Iowa.. so the last thing I did was canvass to Iowans. I just started the first Meetup for my county today, but that's online.. so it really doesn't count.

I have to admit that I don't do much offline things to support Paul. Living in Sweden it is kind of hard to reach a lot of Americans, so I asked myself who I could reach. Luckily, I'm studying English at the University of Stockholm and the professors at the English department are mostly English and American. So I've mentioned Ron Paul in a some of the essays and other types of written assignments that we have had. I've also talked with one of my lecturers after a seminar and I wrote "Google Ron Paul!" and "Ron Paul for president!" on a bit of empty space on our last big test (yes, it is probably not very effective, but at least it's something).

Great thread, by the way!

The last thing I did offline for Ron Paul, which could actually be called my first, was me creating 10 homemade signs and posted them around my neighborhood. I have been a supporter since early summer but never had the motivation until lately. I will do this alot from now on.

The simple signs said:
Vote
Ron Paul
For President

Went to Iowa from December 27th - January 4th on "Ron Paul's Christmas Vacation" - awesome experience.

Talked to my boss for about 2 hours today. He's a democrat/socialist and thinks taxes are good, the government is good, free-markets can't solve problems and would leave people sick and starving in the streets, ect. But I'm fairly adept at using the 'ole Socratic method and getting him to question his assumptions. Probably won't ever change his mind, but he at least agrees that Ron Paul isn't a typical neocon and would do the right thing with respect to foreign policy.

If everyone just converts one single person counting from now, we would double up in size! Double!

Every little thing you do have impact. If you just go out now and make one more sign it will have impact. Even if you haven't done anything until now making that one sign could be so amazingly decisive...

handed out slimjims and put up signs today. Sign wave in downtown Nashua last night. We saw the Ron Paul Air Corps plane today. Pretty cool.

I handed out slim jims at 2 local bars, picked up 5 yard signs for my parents/friends to put up, Talk to everybody I can (gas stations, etc.)..

Watched the training videos on the campaign website to start canvassing my precinct...

I will be carpooling all day on Feb. 5th in Middle Tennessee for all my friends and others who would otherwise not go to the polls...

I canvassed yesterday in Nashua NH then went with hundreds of other supporters to besiege the Radisson hotel and try desperately to get some media coverage.

Signed up to be a precinct captain. Went to the Manchester, NH rally for Ron Paul last night. Going to be campaigning as close as possible to polling places tomorow - handing out slim-jims, holding signs, etc.

Talked to everyone that would listen and even some as they tried to walk away. Agreed to drive 3 other older voters to the polls to help them vote for Paul (in Michigan).
