In case you haven't heard, a guy named Jason Levin is getting a lot of attention. He wants to act like a visible kook at tea party rallies in an effort to discredit them.

If you see someone who may be using this agent provocateur-ish strategy, I propose standing next to the person with a sign that reads "Who is Jason Levin?"

Your thoughts? Improvements?

Kill them with kindness

The more we get our people focused on the counter-demonstrators, the more likely they are to play into their hands and start a ruckus. Plus, not many people know who Jason Levin is anyway; they won't get the sign.

I think it would be better to either ignore them. We'll outnumber them 50 to 1 and the tea partiers control the PA system, so they'll be easily ignored as long as we don't let them provoke us.

Or, try killing them with kindness. Try to spark up a nice conversation with them. Radicals are easily sucked into a debate. Have a group of 4-5 people to approach them peacefully and talk about "working out our differences." That'll keep them busy.
