The hucker lied about his weight loss?

On Rush's show yesterday, the host said that Huck is the only candidate out there still taking $25K a pop for speaking engagements while he's running for president.

I think Alan Keyes might take $25K a speech while campaigning. If only someone would offer it to him.

Last I heard, he'd raised $22K for his entire campaign. Still has over $500,000 in campaign debt from his other previous campaigns over the last ten years. Perpetual candidate and deadbeat to his creditors.

I read some and skimmed some.. I'll tell you what, I have a cousin who weighed around 400lbs. He tried, tried, and tried to lose weight. Healthy eating, exercise, etc. Nothing worked. Since he has had the gastric bypass surgery, this was around July I believe, he has lost way over 100lbs.

So, I could believe that he had the surgery. It's so hard to lose weight and normally when you are doing it the right way, you hit a plateau, it doesn't seem like he hit that plateau which doesn't consist with old fashion weight loss as well.

It only didn't work for him because he was simply eating too much food. A plateau happens because people are eating too much food. Just eat less. That's all gastric bypass surgery will do....FORCE you to eat less.

BTW, I was 300 lbs about 7 years ago and slimmed down to 180 without the use of surgery.
 
It doesn't matter if it's true or not, he's already proven he's a liar in so many other ways.

With a good dose of fascism wrapped in a flag and carrying a cross, we could run you for president someday!

Congrats on the weight loss though. I'm one of those skinny folk who can't gain weight (frustrating enough) but I know the struggles I've seen a few close friends go through with weight, often just because they happen to have the wrong ancestry.

I always think I have too much dirt on me to ever run for office, but then I look at the current politicians and think I have more of a smudge in comparison.
 
I agreed: how or even whether Hack lost weight is irrelevant; that he's a big fat liar is extremely relevant. I'd vote for Taft, and he was a quite large man.

exactly! this is the point i keep trying to make about hillary - i dont care if she's a lesbian... but for petes sake - BE HONEST ABOUT IT. if someone's whole life is a LIE - how can we expect them to be honest while representing us??
 
I'd love it if Smoking Gun could get pics or documents of Huck's bypass.

I guess fascism would then be arriving wrapped in a flag, carrying a cross, and with a gastric bypass so the former fatty Baron Harkonnen could lecture us all about losing weight.
 
Ok. I spoke with my wife who is a board-certified surgeon. She is also a diehard Ron Paul supporter, as am I.

She looked at the site and said that given her own knowledge of bariatric surgery and the gastric bypass procedure, it is medically possible for him to have lost the weight without surgery. The belt that he wore in the marathon was suspicious, but not conclusive. She also said that if the surgeon performed the hernia repair was based in a bariatric surgery office and has a history of performing gastric bypass surgery, it would be suspicious. However that information hasn't been revealed. She mentioned that being 'affiliated' with a bariatric surgeon is commonplace in the world of surgery.

As much as she would hate to see it, she requested a topless pic of the Huckster to check for port scars. Can anyone find such a picture?

Romney's hired guns should dig into this. Let him spend a few hundred-k on this and dig up some circumstantial evidence that raises the question to the media, get some blood in the water, and the other sharks will get on it to make names for themselves.
