So I wrote the GOP expressing my frustrations over a possible McCain nomination and said I would not vote for him. Its was fairly long and I did not mention Ron Paul. I signed it with my name and 4 other of my family members names - thats five votes :)

I got a pretty generic response

"Thank you for contacting the Republican National Committee. We
certainly appreciated your email, and will include your thoughts in our
report to the Chairman. Please do not hesitate to contact us in the
future with any of your thoughts, opinions or observations."

What is the "report to the chairman" they mention?

I hope they are getting a lot of emails like this

lmfao, yeah I don't think they care. That's what I get out of this. Sounds like an automatic reply to any type of email they get.

I wonder why the national party backs McCain. What does a quote unquote conservative party benefit from having an adulterous, overspending, warmongering, liberal representing them?
Who is this national party? How do you get on its leadership?

Sounds like the same crap I get from my 'congressmen'. Gibberish!

I got the exact reply myself.

Okay well I am going to write them back saying other people I know got the same exact reply and I want to know if my email was actually read.

If I get the same response I will know they do not read them....thats when we start calling them everyday :D

Do you think anyone even reads these e-mails before sending that response?

I wonder what would happen if someone sent them an e-mail saying:

"Hi. I'm writing this e-mail to find out how confident you are that John McCain, if elected, will completely destroy the United States of America before the end of his first term. Personally, I am almost sure of it. If you agree that his maniacal, warmongering ideas about foreign policy, lack of knowledge about economics, deficiency of morals, and transparently sociopathic tendencies will indeed destroy our country in four years or less, please include my thoughts in your report to the Chairman. If you disagree, please do not include my thoughts in that report. Either way, please let me know whether or not you choose to include it so I will know if you, the RNC, think a vote for John McCain is a vote for the destruction of America. Thank you."

I bet the chairman already knows no conservatives want mccain... but the party voted for him.

This is really infuriating. I got the same thing. Note to self: When we take over the GOP create better "we don't give a f*&%" emails.

It's an automatic reply. I wrote them the same thing, and recieved the same thing. Most organizations have automatic replies so I wouldn't jump on them about it.

I bet both parties get emails like this every election year from people outraged that 'their' candidate wasn't nominated. Why should they care, and if they did, what could they do?

I mentioned RP in my letter and got no response. Things that make ya go hmmm.......
