ECB Announcement:

15 September 2011 - ECB announces additional US dollar liquidity-providing operations over year-end

The Governing Council of the European Central Bank (ECB) has decided, in coordination with the Federal Reserve, the Bank of England, the Bank of Japan and the Swiss National Bank, to conduct three US dollar liquidity-providing operations with a maturity of approximately three months covering the end of the year. These operations will be conducted in addition to the ongoing weekly seven-day operations announced on 10 May 2010.

The irony is that I am far less concerned about my wealth then I am about social unrest.

I'm hedged for this shit (I'm only 23 and really don't worry about my wealth going POOF). I know what's going down - I know how to protect myself.

I am FAR more concerned with all the little sheeple who have ALLOWED THEMSELVES to become government bitches. Once the trough stops feeding them, what the fuck happens? They will rebel and CALL FOR MORE GOVERNMENT.

Breadlines, LONG BREADLINES...are coming.

+1

Its what really worries me too.

This assumes that our narcissistic society utterly dependent and enslaved by the hand of government still has the civility to wait patiently for government to get their house in order. I am not so optimistic that the citizens will patiently wait in line for this 35 grams of chocolate or bread a la 1984. Based on some of these flash mobs, I suspect once people get a hint of real hunger we will see just how unruly and uncivilized Americans can be because after all they're still human beings. I'm glad I do not reside in an urban/metro area as I think these will be the boiler rooms of this once great nation.
