Sometime around October of 2007 for me. I was in my AP government class and the class was supposed to split into populist, liberal, conservative, and libertarian. It ended up being around 20 people in liberal and 5 or 6 people in conservative (I was in the conservative group). Not one populist or libertarian. So we started debating issues and me and my good buddy were the only people on our side willing to argue, well... We dominated the debate because nobody else knew any facts to back up there positions. Then at the end our teacher made a comment of "You two sound more like Ron Paul than any of the other people running, you should have gone libertarian."
Anyways... My buddy got home and looked the good Dr. up, called me, said he sounded just like us, I check, was amazed, and now I'm here.
EDIT - Gotta add that before now I though that I was nearly alone in my views and thought that I would meat maybe one or two people in my life who actually shared them, and I included my buddy in that assumption. I can know happy say that the Revolution has made me feel like much less of an... odd man out.
