I was thinking where all you determined supporters came from and how you first heard of Paul.

Mine was an internet forum. At first I didn't like him and denounced some of his issues thinking they where too radical. I watched a debate in which I thought he totally blew everyone else off the stage. I did some research and adopted his ideas.

i was a democrat cause i lost all hope for repubs.
i was a Joe Biden supporter

but i saw Dr.Paul in all the debates and he was great.. but something clicked in my head after watching A New Hope.

I was walking into the computer department of my school and overheard some teachers who were talking about republican candidates for the president. One of them said "what about Ron Paul" the other said, "He has no chance, but he's a very smart man" I decided to look him up on Google (I'd never seen a Google Ron Paul sign before because I live in New York City and no one here has put up signs in the neighborhoods I frequent; probably because of stringent property laws). I found his website and read a bit but wasn't that interested at first, a week later while surfing youtube I found a video compilation of his speeches and was hooked.

At first I heard of him as one of the quotes on the back of the book "The Politcally Incorrect Guide to American History" by Thomas Woods, and then I saw at the first debate, and then I eventually got hooked after I decided that I didn't support the war anymore.

Dr. Paul first made an impression on me in 2002 on PBS's Bill Moyers interview with him. He really turned my head around at that time.

I heard about him, geez, more years ago than I want to think about. My Mother was a supporter when he first went to Congress in the 70's.

Over the past couple of years I'd developed the attitude that I would not support the two party system. Whichever candidate ran on an independant or third party ticket would get my vote. I knew Ron Paul had run as a libertarian and talked to a friend of mine about how he was running, I thought, since I wasn't watching closely that he would campaign libertarian. One day I heard a clip from the debate, "we're just saving face", realized RP was campaigning as a Repub. and decided, well I guess I'll have to try one more time to support the party of conservatism.

The GOP does not want my vote. My vote is reserved for the candidate that speaks the truth, that is Ron Paul.

I looked up every single candidate and settled with Ron Paul. Thought it was the morally right thing to do since I would be voting for the first time. This was about when Ron Paul first announced his candidacy.

i saw him on bill marr (however u spell his last name)...he was on with ben afleck...i was a democrat and after i heard him speak i looked him up and i converted :)

the rest is our history

Back in May when I was a neo-con. I thought his closing down all military bases and opposing the war was a bad thing. How stupid I was back then.

Believe me, I can't believe I was that stupid, and I actually thought I had justifications for staying in Iraq forever.

I've heard of him on GLP forum, I was very skeptical (habit; ) ).
But I've done my homework and --- here I am. :D

I saw him come out as a candidate in May on Fox! Believe it or not...they actually informed me initially in a fair and balanced way! lol...go figure!

amazing how sheepish we all were at one point or another.....im just glad we all woke up and that many more patriots are waking up daily:D

He was either on the Penn Jillette show or mentioned on the Penn Jillette show. I can't remember. One of those two.
