the "f" word - is it really necessary!

freedom of speech is my freedom that i hold the highest.

so fucking fuckity fuck :)

LOL

I agree it isn't necessary, but what's the big deal? It's just a word.

I don't think Ron Paul will check out the board and be like, "Oh Lord! My supporters are a bunch of fucking morons!" ;)

Paul was in the military. I'm sure he has dropped a few f-bombs in his day.

Now I don't expect him to use it in his next stump speech.

Fu means wind.

This is a non-sequitur. Japanese/Chinese have no relationship to Indo-European or Germanic languages, thus this has nothing to do with fuck. If you were to go through the worlds languages you would likely find thousands of examples of words that were similar to each other in sound but completely different in meaning. And just as likely, you'd find examples of words that, through the magic of chance, happened to have the same meaning and similar sound. For example, in Japanese, children have called their mothers "mama" since long before the first westerners came to Japan. This example is a little different because it's hypothesized "mama" is commonly a reference to "mother" for children because the mouth movements are similar to those of a suckling baby. But the point is, languages with no historical connection should not be construed to be related because there are words with similar sounds or with similar sounds and meanings.

Sorry, for the sidetracked post.... Fuck.

The word fuck is derived from the German word "frichen"...... which means "to strike"

Fuck is just a word, and if people realized that than there would be no problem.

Well, heck the 'n' word is just a word.

So, African-American, black, n******, and James Brown all be referring to the same person, but they don't carry the same message.

Likewise, F***, hump, screw, sexual intercourse may all technically mean the same thing, but for people to act innocently surprised that there is a different connotation between the terms is, well, stupid.

So there! anyone who said it is stupid to replace the f word with "screw" in a sentence, you are stupid! so there! neener neener.

All language is based on subatomic angular momentum. t is born in the brain/brane structure and held in the mouth and tongue. It is why bees are busy buzzing about their business. I wrote a paper on this that was published in a peer reviewed journal named "The Circular Times" in 1988. It had other contributors such as Professor Gerald Hawkins, decoder of the solar/lunar calendar at Stonehenge, Erol Torun of The Mars Imaging Team and the UN Crop Circle Research Team amongst other luminaries. The gentleman i ran all of this through the wringer with, a Mr Richard Gilmartin, knew over 500 languages fluently and spoke over 1200 languages, a great many of them dead. I was able to delineate the dynamic behind every word he gave me, regardless of origin. The apparent differences are culturally oriented as to what they perceive the object or motion to have the dynamic of.

FU == Force Receptacle. Ergo the idea of wind..or dynamically speaking a container of force.
N==Next, Nature..ergo FUN= Force Receptacle Nature||next
C==Recieve||Center, K==Kinetic(self projecting cone of power) FUCK==Force Receptacle Receive Kinetic.
G==Generate, A==Animation, FUGA==Force Receptacle Generates Animation ( to go back and forth)

Best Regards
Randy

The word fuck is derived from the German word "frichen"...... which means "to strike"

That would be frig, which would also apply to a frigate which was a ship used to strike. The important difference is the "r" sound which signifies the dynamic "in-tensed" or "tensed inwards". CH denotes a charge as its closest English ( the language of angles) dynamic And observation of the nature of the dynamic can be observed by saying the phoneme with force to the back of your hand. It is the centering and release of a spiral/sin wavecouplng

FRICHEN==Force In-tensed Self Center Spirit(spiralled wavelength)Energy Nature
STRIKE==Source Integrate In-tensed Self Kinetic Energy

You know, this is a good point. I'm going to start using fuck in the company of more elderly people, strangers, and children. Fuck the fucking fuckers!

P.S. My study in Linguistics is what accounts for my utter distaste for trying to classify words as "obscene" or "vulgar". Language is a living, breathing entity, as it is only possibly because of the human mind. So when you classify it as obscene or vulgar.... YOU are classifying it that way. As a result of my indoctrination to the truth of Linguistic Universality, you will never convince me that you should not use the word fuck for some one else's sake.... because that can lead to not using words like "forced labor camp" instead favoring joycamp. I don't like when people try to control my language.

Would you have the courtesy to turn off your porn if you had company coming over? With kids? Or is that too much restraint for a free man such as yourself?

Showing kids porn is a lot different than saying a word....

Is screw ok with you rather than fuck? If so why?

What about putting f***? It means the same thing and has the same intent...

Like I said I have no problem with it, I'm just sensitive to the fact that some people do.

Why is it different? If you feel you can curse in front of kids, why not show them porn? After all, sex is simply a natural act, and kids are the product of this act, and so it's not ugly at all. It's society's problem, not yours. Right?

Let's use a less shocking analogy. Some people walk around nude in front of their kids. Some people think the human body is natural and beautiful and not something to be ashamed of. Other people think that is just dowrnight weird. Should the nudists not be restrained and simply be nude in front of their kid's friends', or should they be sympathetic to the way society is and put some clothes on?

I argue that it's easiest to put the clothes on and to simply deal with the fact that we in the US tend to be a bit prudish. Unless your goal is to change society. And if that's your goal, you have to be willing to offend lots of people.

What is our goal here? To get this man elected, or to loosen soceity up?

This is just a tangent thread for the fuck of it.

You are comparing a use of a word in front of people to being naked in front of kids/showing them porn. Apples Oranges.....

I think walking around nude in front of your kids is weird!!!! But it does depend on cultural context! That has never defined the US's culture ....Europe yes a bit here no....Flame away!

Some people just don't get it.

I personally could care less what people say here, but what about people who just don't like the word? This is Ron Paul Forums, not Libertarian Forums or The Anarchist Forum. Isn't it obvious that some people who support Ron Paul may not be a libertarian or an anarchist who doesn't care about language and restraint?

yeah...im'a total anarchist bro... get a life..
