I was looking at the results from yesterday and compared them to the exit polls to see if they matched up because I, an many others, noted the exits polls showed Paul beating Giuliani. Well, I'm amazed to find that now it seems none of them show Paul beating Giuliani.

If anyone else who had done this could do a recheck and see if the numbers match up with what they were before it would be great. I'm positive most of the numbers in the exit polls showed Paul beating Giuliani and I made several posts saying this. So I am pissed to now find that all of the exit polls have somehow changed to match the results.

I noticed that too... initial sampling of 1300 on cnn showing ron paul in 4th, then after adding 250 more today he was 5th...

Call the official campaign and demand they pay for a recount!

There's only one way to deal with this. We need to start doing our own informal exit polling. Precinct captains aren't only needed to get the vote out, but also to count the vote afterwards. If we do our job we'll know who's already committed to vote for Dr. Paul prior to election day. We need to follow up with those people and make sure they actually got out to vote if/when things look suspicious. Sign up to be a precinct captain TODAY!

I KNEW screenshots would be of utmost importance. I know people got quite a few, but what are each of them? I don't know. Perhaps they can get compiled somewhere? Have a thread be the central place to discuss it, and email them to one person to dump on photobucket or something.

Did that yesterday. :)

Also calculate by how much those 220 magic responders had to vote against Paul to bring him down a total of 2%.

Now this is freaking suspicious. What the hell is going on? I noted that the exit polls showed Paul ahead of Giuliani myself... I ... I can't believe they would go to this much trouble just to drop Paul from 4th to 5th... But I really think they have.

Maybe the people doing the exit polls were the same ones who calculated Obama would beat Clinton by double digits.

One thing I know with absolute certainty is that CNN's exit poll numbers put Paul in 4th with 10%, if you bothered to do the math. Myself and many others did it last night.

I don't mean to stir the pot, but ....

There was a 15 y/o kid who posted exit numbers last night before the polls closed. He said his Dad worked for Edison Media Research and that Paul came in 4th. We wrote him off as a troll and the thread has since been deleted. Looking at EMR's numbers from their website, Paul is now 5th. Note that this is the company that does the polling for the MSM.

What I would like to know is what time the second set of numbers came out? I actually contacted EMR when the guy posted and was transferred around a couple times. Eventually I email'd someone at the company the link to the thread. That was around 5:30 EST.

One thing to keep in mind is he was a first time poster. Very well could have been a troll. However, just by his tone I leaned more towards believing him. I don't recall what/if he said Hillary/Obama numbers were. Nobody would really have a motive to "leak" bad exit poll numbers, so I tend to think he wasn't lying.
