Empire... Deep state... Bureaucrats... whatever you want to call them.
They are already trying to undermine Trump's Executive Orders. Just like last time.
In his last administration, Trump met with my old CEO, got an agreement on some energy policy, then as soon as Trump left the room, his "staffers" immediately walked back the agreement, tried to tell my CEO that he misunderstood, and slow-rolled the policy which never materialized.
Already, the Executive Order to halt the IIJA and IRA spending is being "reworked" by staffers. They're trying to keep the spigot of your tax dollars flowing. The temporary OMB Director is giving industry guidance basically telling the special interests that they can count on this money still rolling out and that the EO was a "symbolic gesture".
Then, there's this:
These people can't get fired fast enough! I hope Russ Vought gets confirmed immediately! This can't wait.
