RON PAUL people contact Santorum's campaign now to ensure Romney doesn't get Santorum's delegates.

#Santorum 'suspending' allows for use of campaign funds as well as controlling his pledged delegates #2012

Is this true?

We need a "Welcome Santorum Supporters" banner ASAP. The next 48 hours are critical. Depending on how we act could win/lose us delegates.

Dang, If Obama is president again this is not going to be good....

This is unexpected....

I do need to say this. I truly think its more about his daughters health then a political move. Best wishes to him and his family, and good luck in the future.

Now give us your delegates :D

It could be if the campaighpn plays it right. Remember what happened in Virginia when it was just us and Romney??

we got 40% of the vote. There will be a lot of Santorum voters who are looking to stop Romney.

We already showed that they aren't that interested in this a la the "Unity Slate" I think Paul needs to go independent. It is a losing strategy, but I personally think its better than backing out, or staying in only to inevitably lose to Romney when he hits the 1414 or whatever the number is

Blitzer said a few minutes ago the Romney Super Pac was about to spend 2 to 3 million on ads embarrassing Santorum and Santorum is clearly looking ahead to 2016, and dropping before all the embarassment in his own State.

That gives us something to look forward too ... Santorum in 2016; barf.

Its called politics. Frothy will not endorse Paul.

Dude, it's santorum we're talking about. the dude does anything to get to a higher position, he may already have negotiated a cabinet position.

This is what we wanted, remember? Us vs Romney. It's time to move into action. Quit sobbing and get stumping/sign bombing/shouting.

Goes to prove that santorum was an establishment side show. He soaked up just enough to kill us in the beginning and now is droping out just in time for Romney to pick up enough delegates to ensure their isn't a brokered convention.

What are the odds of this happening hours before our huge caucus in St. Charles county? The State GOP is going to try and get their chairman elected.

This should be an interesting night.

The last time around Santorum had the most people followed by Paul followed by Romney. It was something pretty close
Santorum is your professional career government theft. He's made deals with the RNC/GOP/Romney borgs... they don't want a split vote and possibility of Ron winning delegate majorities. Santorum will give marching orders to all delegates/supporters...

Santorum will tell all his drones to back the other liberal progressive RINO, Romney.

Yes - he suspended, not dropped out. My mistake, I thought he dropped. Most states the delegates are still bound then until he "drops out". So if need be he needs to broker his delegates he still has that control to a degree.

Yes.

This is very bad TODAY because of the St Charles MO caucus where Santa folks will now become and join Romney folks --- against US. I hope the people going to the caucus beat the bushes one last time for why it is super important to show up!!

Politically it is a very smart move. I think Santorum was going to lose PA. Working my local area I don't see much support for him at all.

I would love to be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that:
1. Romney is the second choice of the majority of Santorum voters
2. Santorum endorsed Romney
3. The vast majority of Santorum delegates will vote Romney out of inevitability and "the good of the party"

I don't see how you can't call it for Romney to be honest about it.
