'I'm desperate to keep my elderly parents out of hospital': Britain's top A&E doctor says crowding and bed blocking are killing hundreds of patients every week

Britain's top A&E doctor says he is desperate to keep his elderly parents from going in to hospital this winter – because he fears they won't come out again.

In a frank first interview, Dr Adrian Boyle, the new president of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, said hospital crowding and bed blocking were killing hundreds every week.

Comparing hospitals to 'lobster traps', Dr Boyle said the crisis in social care had left 13,000 patients stranded on wards, despite them being deemed medically fit to leave.

The log-jam was fuelling long waits for ambulances, rising 12-hour waits in A&E and other delays to emergency care, which are estimated to be causing more than 500 deaths a week.

His comments came on the back of another disastrous set of NHS performance statistics, which saw fewer than seven in ten A&E patients being seen within the four-hour target for the first time. In October, a record 594,389 patients waited beyond the four-hour target to be seen in A&E, while 44,000 endured waits of at least 12 hours to be moved to a ward after a decision had been made to admit. This was a rise from 7,048 in October last year.

Some 13,613 beds a day were taken by patients ready to be discharged but with no care programme in place.

The 132,000 job vacancies in the NHS and 165,000 across adult social care means hospitals are already short-staffed and community care is woefully lacking.

Meanwhile, official figures show the number of excess deaths are now at higher levels than during the pandemic. Office for National Statistics data shows there were, on average, 1,564 additional deaths a week last month, compared with a weekly average of 315 in 2020 and 1,322 in 2021.

See how it works? Mass clotshots (= damage) result in a huge rise in people in dire need of treatment and, at the same, funding was either not increased or (maybe?) even decreased. It was apparent to me, at the beginning of the COVID scam, that the US health care is scheduled for demolition and this shit in the UK is what that looks like.

I'm I the only one scared by this? I often see people say stuff like just don't go to a hospital but there are lots of situations where it can't be avoided. What's happening in the UK is already happening here.

In December of 2020, I had urgent surgery to remove my gallbladder. While there, they harangued me to be tested for "COVID". I knew the test was bullshit. I was in serious pain and very vulnerable. Five different times someone came into the room to pressure me. The head surgeon came and begged me saying the surgery would be delayed because they would have to double plus clean the OR if I didn't. One of the assistant surgeons actually lied to me and claimed the hospital was full of COVID patients on ventilators. I told her I didn't believe her. Another doctor told me that was completely not true and that she "shouldn't have said that". Point being, there was plenty of reason to fear the medical industry before the scamdemic but it's far worse now and what we knew as the health system, like the economy, is being dismantled to be replaced with some kind of Zeek Emanuel "Complete Lives" system. Closer to home, look at Canada where they're euthanizing the disabled and homeless. In March, they'll be adding children, without parental permission.
