The introduction was great...but the speech kept getting better and better and better.
You listen to them cheer and it restores your
faith in the future.
P.S. I woke up this morning and I remembered there is a,
Faith, Hope, and a Charity Valley at the crest of the Sierra Mountains right on the trail many of the immigrants took to California back in 1849.
There are still some jagged peaks to pass but I think the worst was past for them and it was pretty much downhill from there.
That could be where we are at now. Many of us that can see a clear trail need to be marking or blazing the trail for others to follow. We need to send parties back to those stuck in their camps thinking the only way is more cannibalism.
(Picture to follow)
P.S. I forgot most of my pictures from up there are on film. I can't even find any on-line that does the place justice and the way I see it in my memory. You'll just have to picture making it to the crest of the Sierra Mountains on highway 88 a little south of Lake Tahoe when huge meadow opens up. That would be Hope valley. If you take the road to the south you then hit Faith Valley next. a Little further on is Charity.
I guess you just have to be there.
P.S. P.S. This is a picture of Hope Valley with the West Fork of the Carson River cutting through it.
Also I was thinking, if we are at the summit in giving Ron Paul's candidacy the momentum and respect it deserves, we may have to go around some of the peaks that loom up as obstacles. Sure it would be nice to stop and sink a rock axe into some of them but the main goal is getting Ron Paul elected and into a better position to help us and the country.
