The Citizen's Guide to Surviving Police Encounters

Brilliant in every way. This is the only Youtube video I've seen here that I would consider "required viewing".

Many states cannot check the truck unless something in the cab reasonably leads them to believe there is something in the trunk. The 'plain view' standard is generally used on traffic stops. If a cop asks for permission, generally, they are not allowed to search. That is your que, tell them they can't search.

I've often wondered about how to handle certain situations. I recommend everyone watch.

I just had my two teenage sons watch this video. They both found it very interesting and I was not aware of how much they didn't know about their rights. We may have to go over the Bill of Rights a few more times.
