The Campaign Should Use Doug Wead Rather Than Jack Hunter as Surrogate for Live Media

Good point by Gunny, about Wead being disarming. Jack needs to lose the Zorg haircut and modify the cadence of his voice. I always attributed it to his accent, but after reading the delivery comments I'm able to differentiate the two.

I think Jack's voice and moderation are tuned for giving radio broadcasts. Not for interviews. It's hard to switch off something that you have been doing for so long. I had forgotten about Fein. He's good too.

As far as Woods is concerned, he is part of RevPAC. I wouldn't be surprised that this means that the campaign couldn't ask him to stand in their stead in an interview.

Any idea on that? Is Woods perhaps too controversial with his historical perspective? Or is there some other reason?

I'm sure him being an anarchist doesn't help. They probably also asked, "who is easier to attack?" Woods is controversial enough that it would be easy for the MSM to make the story about him when they would interview him & not about the campaign.

This. Jack is more platform savvy, Doug is more media savvy. They should learn from each other. Doug picks up more platform, Jack picks up more media, everybody wins. Especially Dr. Paul.

I thought Jack did well. That woman was just a bitch that wouldn't let him finish his answer. Typical of entertainment news instead of being real news. The best thing you can do is just try to finish your point and ignore them trying to interrupt you. I don't think Jack has this mastered yet.

Which is exactly why I'm so excited, the more Wead rubs off on Hunter the better he will do against Graham.
