The Book Dr. Paul wants us to Read. THE LAW.

I suggested it to my niece, who just started law school. She is a flaming liberal leftist, and gave me this response:

at least she read some of it. I can't even get some of my own family members to read or watch anything.

The Law is just brilliant. This is the core of free market economics before you get into Austrian theory.

It says something Orwellian that a liberal studying to be a lawyer would find Bastiat's The Law offensive. She should look into respectable work instead, like hooking.

If Cain can, whats stopping Perry?

Perry's a clown and there's no denying it.
But Cain has a head on his shoulders. He worked in computers back in the time when a computer bug still meant there was a physical insect shorting a transistor somewhere. He's also done ballistics calculations.
And you don't go from being some mid-level functionary to running international corporations overnight unless the people in charge see something in you.

We're trying to win his supporters. Acting like he's stupid doesn't help.
Just sayin'.

"Frederic Bastiat (1801-1850) was a French economist, statesman, and author. He did most of his writing during the years just before — and immediately following — the Revolution of February 1848. This was the period when France was rapidly turning to complete socialism. As a Deputy to the Legislative Assembly, Mr. Bastiat was studying and explaining each socialist fallacy as it appeared. And he explained how socialism must inevitably degenerate into communism. But most of his countrymen chose to ignore his logic."

Wow, insert "American economist"..."Revolution of 2007"

and focus on "ignore his logic"

It's quite scary...

I read 'The Law' last night. I can see why it was recommended by Dr. Paul. I read it on my nook, but I found this later on youtube. It has audio & text.
